Had to try it in my t/c 30 wcf. 14" barrel
I tested some RB at 25 yds. They shot ok,
accuracy not so good. Anyone use RB
in a pistol ???

For the 30 WCF or in a T/C pistol? No, but I use two round balls in .38 and .45 for revolvers and have good success, but it's a straight wall/non-bottleneck type of thing.

Have tried single round ball before and didn't get good results.

I've also done RB in 45 Colt. Even tried shot and a RB..
I have a box of .310 RB with the thought of trying it in 30-30 or 30-06.
I picked up a cartridge adapter dominican shoot 30 carbine out of my 30-06. Seems like it's accurate enough for rabbit size game..I still need to play around with it some more

I've done round ball in 30-30 rifle. It's a hoot!

.311 cast ball, 45-45-10 lube, seated flush with the neck. 2.2g Clays, 868fps. I keep meaning to try a bit faster, haven't gotten around to it yet.

Accurate enough at 25 yds for squirrel smacking. Pull the trigger, it goes Pfft. Lots o' laughs.

I got one for .308, but don't have any ammo to shoot. From what I've seen with .22 Mag in .223, it seems the windage at 25, 50y is fine, it's the elevation that's off.

BTW, I don't recommend .22 rimfire for chamber adapters, the plug to hit the rim is easy to lose. The various .32 pistol calibers and .30 Carbine are the best for using with a chamber adapter in a .30 caliber rifle.
