I was just curious if any other members here had gun related YouTube channels and thought it would be a great idea for a thread to allow the fellow highroad community to support each other and enjoy some gun content on YouTube.

I have not had mine long so not a lot of content yet, but if you have a YouTube channel, post a link!

I havent uploaded anything since we came home for Xmas and then the wifes oldest sister passed.
With those behind us, were working on gear and rides right now.
The dish at our camps is very fast uploading, while the fake internet here in the village is almost as good as dial up.....

it's with my biking and recreational shooting. it's mainly for me to relive my time on the range and my bike rides. my mother has dementia and I told my son to let me watch the videos if I get it later on. hopefully the videos would still be floating around somewhere in 30 yrs. I am also my number one fan. I like rewatching my videos. for my biking videos I contribute to the views more than other people, ha ha.

As a CZ 97 owner and fanboy, Ive watched a few of the videos featuring the 97.

I created a 13 minute video on YouTube when I bought my new Glock Gen 5 G23 because prior to me buying it, there were no in depth reviews of it and none covered the stuff I was most interested in.

All I have is a smart phone and a slow internet connection with no video editing knowledge, so the video was crude. I'd love to get good at it. I created a couple of other videos of shooting it and posted them on Youtube and Rumble. Plenty of likes on YT, but nothing on Rumble.

What do y’all use for video editing? I made a channel but never uploaded vids because the editing proved a bit much for me right now.

There is gun stuff on all the ones I have but it’s not all gun stuff. My videos are generally short and to the point, none are edited. No music or fluff, just to the point, none are even 4 minutes long and the only ones close are the two showing a 650 and Lee loadmaster loading 100 rounds.

I have one but haven't uploaded on a while.

I get more requests for whip stuff, cattle work and horses than I do guns, but a few of my single action revolver vids have got a little traction.

I need to pick up a new computer and get to uploading again.

I have the raw footage, just haven't edited out all the swear words LOL

iMovie is an extremely powerful video editing software. Not difficult to learn and included with most Apple products. The free Windows video editing stuff isn't very intuitive and lacks certain features (like easily being able to add music to your videos) that paid for apps include.

Good to know. Personally I find background music (particularly the corporate metal or other "free to use" music you can add without copyright claims) on shooting videos to be exceptionally annoying, so it doesn't bother me that movie maker makes it more difficult. I should probably look into iMovie since I shoot my videos on iPhone now anyway.

My YouTube channel is for my hang gliding, professional conference presentations, and occasionally other topics of interest. I have not and would not post any gun-related videos there. The Tweater-alternative free speech service Gab (which pre-dates Parler by several years) recently added GabTV, a video service, so it my be another alternative to Rumble, but you have to be a paid subscriber to upload.

For simple cut and paste I use Quicktime Player on my mac. For more detailed edits I use the free iMovie app.

I used lumafusion on an iPhone for a while and really liked it, but now I’m upgrading cameras so I switched to Vegas pro 17 platinum. If you shoot your video with an iPhone you’ll love lumafusion. Like $30 for the app but well worth it.

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro. Its professional video editing software that will do anything that you would want it to do. Probably the best one out there right now. Learning the basics is not very hard. If you want to get into the more advanced stuff there is a lot to learn. This is what they use for making TV shows and movies. Adobe does all of their software as a monthly subscription thing. You can get Premiere for about $20 per month. Or you can get all of their software for about $50 per month. Its worth it if you make use of it and learn how to use it.
