A new to me Colt Delta Elite.
Should be a Series 80. It's not...
I wasn't expecting this pile of pieces.
Does the arrangement look correct?
They all came out of the frame but reassembly has me troubled.
No way will the last washer fit. There is just no room in the frame.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
ps. I'm going to get it to a smith and make it a Series 80 once again.

Looks like some one removed the series 80 parts and added spaces. Then on top of that the sear is toast (2 pieces). Check to see if the FP block is in the sllde and functional.

Do your self a favor and got to Harrison Design and get you a new ignition set. I only use the true radius sear. His sets are as close to drop in as you can get. The series 80 parts can be had from Brownells or Colt.

As noted the sear is broken and unusable. The disconnector is slightly boogered and could stand to be replaced, too. The washers have no place in the gun. If they were installed it makes me wonder what may have been done to the frame. They sure won't fit in an in spec frame.

Your shims likely replaced the parts on the right, I use one like the left part. As above you will need the frame and slide parts if you want it functional s an 80 series.

It is a unique setup indeed.
It's turned into a project now as I believe the gun deserves some care.
I appreciate the replies.
I will update things as I get things restored.

Do the firing pin plunger lever and trigger bar lever require any fitting or are they simply "drop in" pieces?

Genrally, with factory stock fire control parts, they are drop in fit. However, I've seen multiple examples of incorrectly timed parts in factory original guns that resulted in failure to fire and damaged parts. Tuning the firing pin safety parts to clear the firing pin before the hammer falls is pretty simple.

I presume those brass washers were used as spacers on hammer and sear pins although they eyeball thicker than the commercial "shim".
As said, those parts have been badly hacked and the best thing to do is to start over.

I have Delta Elite ignition parts in the Kimber that my Daughter now owns' They don't even look the same , although it's been awhile since I've seen it.....

As I posted earlier the firing pin safety parts can be tuned to be "invisible" to your finger for all but the lightest trigger pulls (sub 3#) and even then they will only add a barely perceptible amount to the trigger pull weight. One of the aftermarket parts makers came up with a lever for S80 equiped guns that converts it to actuate off the grip safety similar to the Kimber Swartz safety.

My new sear, disconnector, and shim arrived today.
The rest of the parts to get it back to Series 80 status are back ordered.
In the meantime I will live with Series 70 status.
