Wolf A1 T91 12.5 inch upper legality question

I want to get one of the Wolf T91 12.5 inch uppers, and build it as a pistol, with a pistol brace. I know OAL for a pistol is 26 inches from muzzle to butt. Just mocking things up without the actual upper things seem to be about 26.5 inches.

I have seen plenty of T91 12.5 inch SBRs, but I don't want to go that route yet unless I absolutely have to.

So has anyone built a 12.5 inch T91 pistol, and if you have, what are the measurements and how do I make sure I legally build it as a pistol?

So as long as I install it on a new lower, with a pistol brace, I'm legal, right?
