Ok jmorris I’m thinking you will end up with one eventually. From the videos I’ve see from you I can tell you like to tinker with and make tools work. I’m looking forward to a video

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little...
...If you don't pay much, then you probably won't get much.
I think the correct response to both of those would be the 1911...but it could just as easily apply to Glock or products from Lee Precision

I also would like to see how their seating die is seating from being fed from a bullet feeder.

There have been a few that have the capability of the bullet being fed into the die then seated into the case.

There was also a pistol die advertised in the Frontsight magazine that was a feed/seat die before bullet feeders with collators came into the main stream. Maybe around ‘02 or so, think it started with an “A”.

Then there is the Lee bullet feeder that is just an add on for a regular seat die, so you feed and seat at the same station.

There was also a commercial one that used adjustable tension metal “fingers” that was pneumatic in operation that used the same concept and more importantly worked day in and day out. I don’t remember if MA Systems made them or they just sent the information about them with their collator packet.

I am quite a fan of the GSI feeders that also feed and seat at the same station.

Available for the old Pro 2000 press, RCBS had a version (san's the mic head of the Gold Medal seater in the post above) that was the feed/seat die for their no longer available rifle bullet collator. That died with the Pro 2000's when the Pro Chucker came out.

GSI was nice but they quit too. Not enough sales on either product. Both too expensive.....or most of us are too cheap.;)

Talking to a R&D engineer at RCBS, about collators coming for the Pro Chuckers (back when they first appeared) He said probably not. Too expensive to engineer and produce for the few who are willing to part with extra for a bullet collator. That next January, for the Pro Chuckers, the "Tube Rifle Feeder" appeared using ball bearings to feed them reliably. And they came with "M" dies to expand 1/16th inch deep straight pockets in rifle brass to keep fed bullets from tilting or worse on the plate merry-go-round. I really like them....flawless feeding and no more expander plugs in my sizers.....but the single station feeding/seating of the old ones is gone.....and you need more than 5 stations to be happy with them.

Looks like Frankford Arsenal chose to bypass "M" pockets by doing it all on one station......can't imagine what I'd use ten stations for with that efficiency....swaging on my 7 station would only require one more. Will be interesting to see what the new possibilities are and whether early adopters will be more patient with them than they were with RCBS.
