No, she wouldn't go. She was hemming and hawing a bit. I didn't want to push.

I did go to the range- get this- with 2 people that have never shot!!!

I had company last weekend, guy I work with and his wife...saw my safe, wanted to see my "toys"...showed then...both in awe...one week later, have 2 Baretta .22s and a Sig 9mm! (Yeah, a bit much, but he is one of those that is an expert at everything, and knows all).

They called and asked if I'd take them?!?!?!?! Is this a trick question?!?!?!

Started off with the basics (This is a bullet). She was great with the .22...he was over-compensating for a small...barrell?...(sorry mods)...but HAD to get the 9mm...then HAD to make her shoot it. I told him no, her no...he kept pushing her and she finally gave in. Plain stupidity.

She took 2 shots, then had to stop as she was shaking so badly. I am male, but must be broken (or secure enough in my masculinity)- I saw no need to torment this poor girl like that. It was an ego thing for him. She shot (much to her credit) a few more rounds after, but was not the same. He kept trying to take over the conversation, I had to tell him off a few times, and he went to pout. It's amazing watching someone pretend to be an expert when they have no idea what they are talking about.

I was good. I took the High road, let him "run the show", but was able to give her a fairly good education. Or at least the best that I could.

Took less than a week, and you've already redeemed yourself from your other recent incident!!
