Anyone make their own grips?

Why mess with making the metal ring when you can buy a complete set of escutcheons with screw. Dixie Gun Works has them for $4.95. I have used these and they are excellent. I'm an inveterate make it if I can guy but I buy these when needed.

I also just ordered some camel bone I figure I will make a set out of that as well.

Plus I just got my first Philippines one centavo that I am going to inlay into the brown grips.
