I know there are a few options for the 6.5 x 55 and I'm almost positive I've seen some for the 7x57 but I'll have to actually sit down at my computer and look It's hard to a comprehensive search on my phone.

The on s im remembering off hand are rhe Mauser M-18, Tikka T3x, and CZ 550s.
Rugers done a run of 6.5x55 and 7x57 fairly recently.

I bought howa for kid in 6.5x55 but website doesn't show now. Budsgunshop has some but if course all out of stock.

I don't think I've seen a factory rifle chambered in 7x57 in several years. CZ offered a 6.x5x55 several years ago in their 550FS, and I picked one of those up but they've since been discontinued. Sako does still offer a 6.5x55, 8x57, and some other Euro chamberings but I didn't see a 7x57 among them. If you're up for spending some dough, here's some smaller production/custom options:

Also a tbought, a new production x55 or x57 is only a barrel swap away.

Yes that comes with a 300-700 (low to middling) premium, if you dont do the work yourself. But if your dead set on an unusual option, or want it in a gun that it isnt available in (Winchester 70?) Then its where ya land.

I'd say some dough, 28,000 GBP worth: https://www.johnrigbyandco.com/guns/the-london-best/

Are there any new production rifles chambered in 7x57 Mauser or 6.5x55 Swede ? I've been eyeing the Sako model 85 Bavarian but I'd like some more options.

I have a Cabelas' Special Win M70 High Grade chambered in 7x57(2nd from left) (I have .275 Rigby brass for it, in honor of WDM "Karamoja" Bell). Bought it new a few years ago. Also, last year, I picked up a Ruger 77 Hawkeye "African" in 6.5x55SE (2nd from right) that you can still find in some Cabelas NIB. I also picked up a new Ruger No. 1 in 6.5x55SE a few years ago (right) (I believe it was a special). Ruger also made its Hawkeye "African" in 7x57 the year before they made the 6.5x55SE. If I find one in good shape, I'll buy it.

BTW, the rifle on the left is a Sako 85 Bavarian in .300 WSM...I love wood and blue steel. Also, as you can see, my old school hunting rifles use Leupold VX3 scopes.

CZ, Howa, Berreta, Sako, Sauer, Ruger, Winchester, Tikka all sell them and of course all the Mausers.

I'd like a full pressure 7x57mm. I do have an 1892 Mauser (sporterized) rifle in 7x57mm. I also have an M1903 Springfield that has a 'stalking' type aftermarket stock and no sights. It still has the original barrel.

Not finding a current production 7x57mm bolt rifle, I keep thinking putting a suitable 7x57mm barrel on the M1903 action and adding suitable sights would satisfy my desire. I have a couple other rifles (including a old M77 Ruger with tang safety). Bolt size is the same. Magazine nearly the same overall length. Calibre change not going to be difficult. Sights should be a more serious decision, but I'll likely get it figured.

Projects. More projects.

I've got a fondness for the older cartridges, but there's no current rifles offered in the 7mm Mauser. So it's a custom proposition.

Or, you can grab a 7mm-08 off the shelf with the same performance in a shorter action, or a 280AI (or 7mag) in the same size action with mo'power. If you want a turn-key factory warrantied solution that is.

There's a number of good options for factory 6.5x55 rifles. I'd really like a Ruger M77 RSI.

ER Shaw will build either in their Mark VII and Mark X rifles with multiple twists available. I've got an early Mark VII in .300 Win Mag, it's a good shooter.

Absolutely correct and relatively affordable in the world of custom rifles. The Mark VI looks like a Savage receiver and bolt. Never looked at the Mark X. I've had them do custom work on Mauser receivers in the past and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
