Off the wall question - how long do you tumble brass?

My range has nasty 60grit sand so I do a quick rinse on all the brass then do a quick wet tumble of about 1/2 hour before decapping.
Once it is decapped I run it about a hour.

2 hours, with polish. Unless I forget about them. But after the 2 hour mark, the difference between 2 or 3 or even 4 hours seems to be less and less. I’ve done as little as 45 minutes before and was able to load and shoot that brass without issues.

Most I've had to contend with is muddy clay. Wow, sand gets everywhere. Guess I need to count my blessings.

My range has some clay mixed in with the sand to make a nice abrasive paste.....
Just sand by itself might be to easy to clean out of the cases, can't have that of course;)
