Why on earth do MSR type guns not come like this?

It's not the shooting from the truck that is illegal it's the shooting from/on a public right of way that is. If you're in the middle of a field you own you can shoot out of your truck all you want.
I think that depends on the state you live in. My grand father got ticketed on his own property having a loaded firearm on the tractor.

A flash hider is not a muzzle brake at all. two different things. A flash hider doesn't increase the sound, if anything it helps muffle it. The idea is to help conceal your position. Reducing muzzle jump is also a minor concern. Another reason is that it protects the muzzle. I like them and glad I don't have to buy them extra.
Also illegal to shoot from any vehicle in this state. That is really hard on the ears. Made that mistake once. I have a Muzzle brake on a rifle and a ported barrel on a pistol. I don't notice enough difference to care. I like the ported pistol barrel.

Don't move to WI or MN then. In WI you can have a pistol loaded in a vehicle if you have a CCW. But not a rifle. This is why I own an AR pistol. And yes, it applies to your own land, (though not your domicile.) Ironically, you can legally walk down the street in WI with a loaded rifle on your shoulder, but you cannot transport same in your motor vehicle. On ATV's you can.
Same here. No loaded guns unless a pistol with a Permit. Only disabled hunters can shoot from a stationary vehicle and they are strict about it. You have to get out, load your gun and get off the road to shoot. Then unload before you can get back in. You used to have put any gun in an enclosed case besides. Those laws do not apply to natives on reservation land.

To digress, we forget why most firearms are threaded.
Don't remember the bill no, but there was a bill in line to be brought to the Senate floor, to legalize suppressors without the restrictions that were and are in place.
Manufacturers were gearing up for this to be an OTC accessory.
Then Sandy Hook happened.
End of story.

Hearing Protection Act.

Less recoil/ muzzle jump can mean spotting hits on critters. Very cool when varmint hunting

Th
yes, approved by the ATF. It’s original purpose was as a gas booster for a krinkov pistol
thats cool. I see those “solvent trap” kits all over gun broker that could be setup just like that. I’ve often thought just using a little expansion chamber and the end cap could really take the crack out of a rifle without being in the way. I have a suppressor. And it can sure make things heavy and long.
