What firearm fired today?

Got some practice in with my 9mm Shield. Put 100 rounds through it. Was consistently pulling to the right (I'm left handed) .

I'm at the point of needing bifocals, so I was having issues getting a good sight picture

Had 10 rds. of .22 Hornet left from yesterday to finish up. It was a balmy -3 but the wind was down today. Could even hear the hits on the 200 yard plate today.

Sure was cold though

No doubt! I have not fired anything since the last warm spell.......Hope to this coming weekend or next week. Will be revolvers or .22 LR (Gotta save your brass, ya know!)

I think we set a new state record this past weekend with a low of -50 degrees Fahrenheit. Yeah, below zero, for that day, recorded at 7 A.M.!

About 20 miles east of me on Snowbank Lake on the edge of the BWCA. (God's Country!)

Took the boys to the range again today. I wanted to make sure the sighs are on for Sunday's Steel Challenge Match. Dead on at 15 and good - to - go at 25 so I'm all set.

I spend 100 rounds at 15 and another 100 at 25 then I shot some groups at 7 yards so I could practice just watching the front sight in the center of the target without peeking. I shot a nice 1 hold group just a tad left. Re centered the sight and now I'm ready.

This will be the first time I'm shooting iron sights in about 10 years. Concentrating on the front sight is a bit different that staring at the dot in the center of the target but my groups are better. Now to see if I can keep it together for all 8 stages.

I fired 15 rds. out of my CZ 527 carbine this morning while I was waiting for the heater to thaw out the horse waterer.

Shot up a box of 22's in newly acquired Ruger LCPII. Darn little gun is a hoot and more accurate than expected.

S&W Model 15 and Model 10. Charter Arms Bulldog .44. Took a few shots of my Sons Ruger Mini14 while he took a break. Wife came along and let a few go. Good day overall.

Great day to get out.
I shot 100 rounds today through my Ruger SBH. And the same in my single six. No wind today. Suns out. Temp in the 30's. Great day for plinking. Shot some stout rounds in the 44 i loaded. 240 grain SWC behind 14 grains of Blue dot. I like em lol.

We actually had a high of 32 degrees today for the first time in a while. Couldn't get to the range or my friends property but the sun was out and I felt like shooting. So does a 22 cal. Benjamin Trail break barrel pellet rifle qualify as a firearm for this topic? It has legally and successfully harvested squirrels during the season so can it be termed a firearm? Or should we start a firearms themed cabin fever thread?

We actually had 54f today after weeks of sub freezing and still have snow on the ground. Couldn't get out the chrono and shoot at my house due to wife on night shift and sleeping. Went down the road to creek bed and put 25rds each through two of my 10/22's , 40 rds thru Mini 14, two mags thru Stoeger 9mm, one mag each thru LCP, Diamondback, and Taurus .380's, and finished off with one mag thru the Cz52.
A much needed break from cabin fever!

Went to the indoor range for the first time in a long time.
Put about 100 rounds of various ammo through my new Ruger Mark IV 22/45. It functioned perfectly and was very accurate but the CCI mini mags were the best.
Then I shot my 4 inch S&W model 57 with some powder coated home cast bullets and IMR 4227. Finished up with some flame throwing rounds of 210 gr. XTP's over H110.
Topped it off by scoring about 200 .223/5.56 cases from the 3 LEO's that were training on the opposite end of the range.
It was a good day.

I ran some tests to find an IMR 4198 load I like for 7.62x39 with .311 150gr Sierra SP in the ol’ WASR.
found it!

Finally broke in my new Beretta Outlander shotgun today breaking clays. Fired 150rds of various brands and loads all 100%. Too bad the clays cost more than ammo.
