Please help ID these rifle Stocks

Looks like Chinese SKS stocks to me

Looks like Chinese SKS stocks to me also. When SKS rifles from China poured in many US companies made all sorts of custom stocks for them, including folding stocks. The end result was all sorts of the original wood stocks left floating around. adrift. The one looks to be a nice stock and never saw a Chinese that nice. The Russian versions I saw were laminate. Anyway both look to be SKS stocks.

Chinese SKS would be my guess, too. Dug out the Norinco SKS I purchased new in 1992 to look at and compare. Also have some pix of it here on the computer including that butt plate that looked real familiar to me. Check these out. ... ....I bet someone got a couple aftermarket stocks for a couple SKS's, ( most likely in the 1980's or 90's when tons of them were coming here), and put the originals away someplace until they eventually became yard sale material.

I agree.Many were taken off to put a longer, synthetic or tacticool stock on. But they are valuable for someone wanting to put one back to specs. Are the cleaning kits in the butt hole? Be careful when pushing your finger in. I had one snap shut on my cuticle and it hurt like Heck.

Man, those are in REALLY nice shape for Norinco SKS stocks -- I'll bet you could get a pretty penny for them on Gunbroker if you want to sell them. I might even be interested in one if you don't want to go through GB. My SKS's stock is pretty beat up and it's already a mixmaster as far as serial numbers go, anyway.

I had an extra one laying around here that I gave to a forum member. Year or two ago. Those look to have the spike bayonet cut. The Sino-Soviet and early Chinese I thing had the blade bayonet.

Serials point to them not being Romanian. Definitely SKS. That one has pretty grain. Sling is worth a bit too!
