My daughter is becoming one of my closest shooting buddies.

I started her on a CZ Scout many years ago and she loves to shoot. She always likes to pick up brass from our shooting spots, I have told her about reloading in the past. She has watched me several times and loves to sit out in the garage and chat while I reload, but yesterday she asked to actually reload with me.

I have been prepping some 454 cases so we got to work on them. We started last night, took a break when she got bored and then finished them up this morning. She was so proud and happy when we finished.

I think we will work on the .38 Spl's next so she can actually shoot some of her hard work.

How Wonderful!!!!! I think it’s great she got involved I’m sure you enjoyed every second of it!

My daughter never showed an interest in reloading when she was little, but she has turned into a real recoil junkie. She has got her husband into shooting and I'm the ammo supplier it seems.
Enjoy it every chance you can, they grow up fast.

That is so awesome! My older son still has the first 12 gauge shell he reloaded and keeps it on his computer desk. Let us know when she shoots her first reload and her reaction to that.

These are the times you must cherish, my granddaughter started out loading with me, and she may still come back to it. Now my grandson is showing a lot of interest and he and I will be shooting/reloading buddies for the rest of my life. He is 8 and is loading my .357mags for me (after I set the press up) with my close supervision.
These are the most precious times in our lives.

ECVMatt, AJC1, Your helpers are adorable! And I hope they stay with it. My Grandson is really interested and has exceeded my expectations, he is so smart!

My granddaughters "help" (one of them is only 3, help consists of made-up things like taking brass from one container and putting it in another, although she's pretty good at placing brass in the shell holder) me in the reloading room. It's a lot of fun.

When my kids were little, I had them do the same thing. Last week I found a paper board that had different calibers taped to it for sorting .The board was probably 30 yrs or more old. i also had them resizie 9mm. I smiled when I seen it. One of my reloader helpers just came back to my area, he just retired 20 yrs in military. He is ready to reload again!

Awesome pictures and glad to hear how many people are still getting kids into shooting and reloading. Never a more important time than now to show this sport is still good for building relationships and not just for insane terrorists.
My Daughter loaded her first round a few weeks back, a 30-06 for her Garand!
