Ha!! right about the drive in movies, and the car. My first car for 75$, after an engine overhaul and some body work it turned out pretty well. BTW in the end I'm sure I put more than $1500 into the car, a lot of money for a kid.

No not an "H" I wish it was, just a plain old 300, it did ok with the 383 as it was though. Rare as the letter series are I've only laid eyes on an F and G twice in my life.

There was a picture of me from the Bennington , Vermont newspaper from Christmastime, 1957 pointing a toy Tommy Gun-away from the camera, of course. Back when boys who didn't like guns were looked at askance.
