This is my Predom Lucznik WZ 1976 air pistol. It was manufactured by Zaklady Metalowe Predom-Lucznik in Radom, Poland from at least 1972 to about 1980 it is a copy of the Walther LP53. The parts are interchangeable but the LP53 is a much more refined gun.
I have resealed it and shot it for the first time today. Crony at 422fps average. Now it time to shoot some paper and see what it will do. I expect it to level off at around 400fps. My first six shots free hand at 25 feet.

Cool air gun. I never cared for about every single photo in James Bond he had his finger on the trigger. (Ah Hollywood)

There's a muzzle cover that was made to protect the hand from the front sight cutting it when cocking.

I've been meaning to make one for my Predom

A fun pistola. I have one that I got many years ago. I had to reseal it using Walther LP53 parts, as well.

I am gonna admit something here and it of great pain and embarrassment to me. DEEP BREATH. I am Bond fan. I have seen all the movies at least 3 or 4 times. I am also a shooters shooter. I have a fair bit of experience with a wide range of firearms/airguns etc. and I pride myself as having at least a little knowledge on the subject.

SIGH..........I never knew that was an airgun in that picture. I don’t think I ever had a particular thought even of what kind of “gun” it was and just figured it was either a prop or 50s or 60s .22 like a Woodsman variant or High Standard variant.

I never even had a thought it was an air pistol. It is a shame I will now carry always. :(
What makes it worse is you can clearly see the barrel pivot and compression arm.

:p

Interesting as always. Thanks for this.

I have this one in my collection - Not a Predom, but the next best thing. :)
