Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Picked up a MAGPUL MOE SL handguard and vertical grip at one of the LGS yesterday and almost pulled the trigger (proverbially speaking) on a S&W Model 629 .44 magnum w/6" barrel after some range time at SPB, dang it felt great in the hand. Might have to take another drive over there next week....

I bought a .22 LR Heritage Rough Rider a few years ago. I recently decided to mail in the coupon from the box for a .22 Magnum cylinder. (I have long had a Savage 63KM bolt and Taurus pump rifles in .22 mag and I have a small stash of .22 mag ammo, so a companionable revolver began to look like a good idea.)

Yesterday a lady called from Heritage and said she was looking at my order and it would be $29.95 plus $8.90 shipping. She then told me I could cancel the coupon order, go on-line to SHOPHERITAGEMFG.COM and order the .22 Magnum cylinder for $29.99 with free shipping. What? Me pay $.04 more to save $8.90 shipping? Do I look like a cheap skinflint? ... Well I bought a HRR, didn't I? Dang right! I took her advice and thanked her.

So my most recent gun related purchase is a .22 Mag cylinder for my Rough Rider revolver.

Spent less than a $1k today and came home with 3 guns with 2 being new. 200 rds of 9mm, box of .40sw, box .32acp, 4 boxes of 7.62x39, .22LR Colibri. Cant believe I was excited to pay $25 a box for factory reloaded 9mm. Thats also a new Heritage Bar Keep, 16" Rough Rider, and a surplus Yugoslavian M70.

IMG_1081.JPG ........ My case of case lubricant arrived today from the good folks at Dillon Precision. 20 bottles of it in non aerosol pump sprayers. It's good stuff that I really like and figured the way things are going related to reloading supplies I might as well get a case of it and be set for many years.

No, But I feel it building deep down. I know what I want. Each day I wake thinking this is the day I'm going to run down to the gun shop. But then, I think " Is she going to woop me when I get back?" When it builds enough, I will get there.

Bought something I've wanted for over 30 years. A Sig P210. This is the newer version they are making now. It's called the Sig P210 Target. I'm left handed and it fit me like a glove. Was at a gun show in SW Idaho. First gun show I've been to in years. Kind of an accident. My boss called and said he had been to the show but went back to get more cash. I was passing thru town doing some
errands my wife wanted and he said "meet me at the bank and I'll take you to the gun show with me." Didn't have much cash on me but went just to see what prices were....... ammo and reloading
components were thru the roof. While I was slowly working my way down one row of tables, I spotted it. Picked it up and I was gone. I remember that a great handgun should fit your hand like a well
used bar of soap. This one did.....thought my CZ-75 was unbeatable on that count but this Sig was better. Gave him $100.00 to hold it for me as I have to take an oversize load to Texas Monday
morning. Will pick it up when I come back. Come to find out he only lives about 25 miles away. Best part of the deal is we are going to to some trading on .223/5.56 I've picked up the last couple
years when I was out traveling. Don't think any has been over .30 a round and he is trading for almost three times that. Basically I will get the $1400.00 gun for about 1/3 that.
Daughter call from the pharmacy where she works and sad "Dad if you come in about 4:15 we have some Covid serum left we need to use and you can get your first shot." Done and done
Was a fantastic day. Wife didn't even kill me when I told he what I bought.

I purchase a new Belly Band holster. I borrowed mine to a friend who indicated he had returned it. I don't recall a return and can't find it, so time for a new one.

Sometimes I go to a show only to find nothing I want to buy while other times I walk out having spent more than I had intended. This past weekend we had another small-town show in Newberry outside of Gainesville, FL. It's been coming through three or four times a year for years now and since it's local and doesn't take all day like the big shows down to Orlando I usually go.

This time one of the ammo dealers had three boxes of the Federal American Eagle 100gr jsp 327 Mag at 2019 pre-Panic prices. Got them for $30 apiece. He also had two boxes of 20 gauge buckshot which is the first I've seen in months. Also picked up a mill-issue Beretta holster in good condition for five bucks. Spent more money than I had intended, but walked out happy.
