I have wonder where to spend some credit and suddenly CZ come up with CZ P-10F in .45 auto per youtube, such a great news deserve one smile in my desk.
Now since CZ is half breed American (no pun intended) get an extra reason to help the market.
For years lurked for another .45 than my 1911, Glock was huge, Sig 220 you need a forklift to hold it, HK and extra mortgage.
So do we have an fortunate member with some experience with my next acquisition.
Any input and pictures will be appreciate for the sake of our diminished economy.

Not the CZ P10 of the thread, but the late Stephen A. Camp on the Beretta PX4 .45

For me, the 45-caliber PX4 “feels” more comfortable in the hand than the Glock 21, Springfield Armory XD, SIG-SAUER P220 or FNP 45. I admit that this is entirely subjective and does not hold true for all shooters. The PX4 also seems smaller “in person” than its “paper dimensions” suggest.

FNP 45 was prohibited to acquire for money reasons, Beretta was a serious candidate but was put in hold since B USA gave the production to Stoeger and did not find a good source of them.
Springfield XD was not a bad option at all, but have had no chance to test on in .45.
So, sound my prayers were listened, I'm waiting for beta testers input.

The Beretta PX4 is not manufactured by Stoeger.

What used to be the Beretta Cougar is manufactured by Stoeger, and while somewhat similar to the PX4, it is a different gun.

thy for the correction, somewhat was out of my attention. Big question on the new CZ is which distribution channel will get some.

Grab a gun and buds and a few others have them catalogued in their online stores. Just not in stock yet. Item number is 91590

Hold your horses, CZ is still ours only :D

Just today i did read its already in some local (czech) showrooms, but since today we have lockd...more lockdown and gunssphops are closed, so i dont expect much news, but if i find something on czech forums i will share it.

I'm sure they will be great when they show up, but I'm not holding my breath for them anytime soon, in any sort of volume.

At least here in the US, it's still tough to get common guns like a G17, M&P, or Beretta 92FS.

The visit to CZ's office was postponed because my health issues 2 years ago and now the COVID. I have my fingers crossed for a trip to Czech Republic next year.

Handed a 97b many many moons ago when they came up, resulting a tad big for mid size hands, good accuracy though.
As soon my my shooting buddy get one I will report.

No intention of being argumentative, CZ P10F was not intended to compete with steel frames pistols.
But a polymer frame (read as light weight) high capacity will have a good reception in the market (in normal condition.)
FNX 45, Glock and others similar on the market are higher on price than the P-10 line, market will dictate the rhythm.
CZ P-10 will catch the IPSC fans share in few months as it did before, let see.

Some guys like light weight strikers, others prefer hammers and steel.
Am not into plastic guns and the P10 line for a CZ fan boy just doesn't do any thing for me, but a full size 45 might.

As i can say from similiar discussion on cz forum - there is actually quite a big hole in market for .45 in Europe since most of guns in this calibre are 1911 with quite a high price and other options, like PX4, HK45 and so are also quite expensive. P10 in .45, with price around base 9mm version, could find its customers quite easily, but i would not expect much for now.
My guess European market will be "beta test" and US version will be later, but "polished". It makes sence, because some birth pain in european can be quite easily hidden since EU doesnt have such a big, shared gun community (who would watch german guntuber?)

As my prior words, CZ will provably have a slot in the carry sector and other big chunk on the sports in less of 2 years.
Let the market and politicians dictate.

P10F is avalaible in czech shops with price around 840 USD, which is something around 580 USD for US market (my guess based on diffrence of price of handguns on US vs Czech market)

I saw one and handled it this week in Nashville ,Tennessee. It was priced at $699. Too much for me at this point. now if it were hammer fired like the P-09 then maybe. But $699 is too high. most shops here in Tennessee are selling guns at and above MSRP. Some WAY ABOVE MSRP.
The only thing besides the price that was a con was the area under the slide near the rear slide plate. When the slide was locked back and you looked up underneath it , I could see the striker and its springs and inner workings. It just looked like it was exposed too much and could get clogged with gunk and dirt very easy.

The P-09 isn’t worth $700 imho, and I have one.

Firearms prices in general are inflated, until factories starts to churn backorders and fulfill them, prices won't change so much.
