Karma For A Bully Boar Chasing Deer

I don't like hogs and I don't like hogs disturbing the wildlife on my place. So this boar was going to get shot, but I took the opportunity to get some additional video and what I saw really let me feel that much better about putting down the hog. The reaction of the deer to the whole situation was pretty neat. I think they realize it isn't deer season. The shot hardly phased them.

It isn't often that I have seen hogs chasing deer, but in every case, it was around feeders. I don't see this in open field situations. Usually the deer and hogs simply keep their distance.

Maybe, but I think they could just see him. Winds were out of the east and later ESE, and the hog was NW of where the deer were. However, in the woods and clearings like that, there are swirls.
