Primers preorder...

Found this site: www.northforktactical.com and they appear to be taking preorders for Unis Ginex SPP. Prices seem a tad elevated but not highway robbery. I took a chance and ordered 5k. (Been on the hunt for SPP for a couple months now to no avail.) Anybody know if it’s a reputable outfit/scam/etc?

So it looks like 5K are .06 each, it says $240 but when you put in your cart it's $300. 50K are $4000 or .08 each. Website says estimated shipping is 2 months from 01/15/2021, hence 03/15/2021. I emailed and ask how realistic that date is, I'll let you know their response.

The response. I've opened a dialogue with him.

"Hi Christopher,

We are pretty solid on or around that date for receiving, processing and shipping everything out to all the customers who have preordered. We still have one more international border to cross and that’s the one thing that has the potential to hang us up, but it would only be a delay, not a cancellation. I plan on sending out an email blast to everyone who pre orders giving updates as we hit these markers. Any delay I don’t anticipate taking longer than a couple weeks or so. We have imported through this supply chain before with different products and haven’t had any issues so far. Thanks for the inquiry.

Best regards,

Noah Brooks

Kind of rough that they offer no volume discount. Even so, it's still better than paying the incredibly high gunbroker rates right now, if they actually deliver.

If they had been small rifle/small rifle magnum, I would have definitely been willing to try my luck.

I ordered 5k wish me luck.

I ordered 10k. I spoke to Noah the owner, primers are coming from Bosnia, he’s used this supply chain previously. I’ll keep you all informed.

In the middle of chaos is opportunity.

Anyone with firsthand experience with North Fork Tactical?

I can’t find much on the web that would lead me to believe they are legit. Of course, they very well may be... but a quick Google search didn’t turn up much.

Thanks!

I've got a buddy in Atlanta who has ordered quite a few 80% lowers from them and he swears by them ... he's a retired Colonel and he found out about them through an SAS ex-pat buddy of his who was living in the state of Washington until this past January.

Apparently they are a legit retailer and well respected. Just a fwiw.

Unis Ginex small rifle primers are a pain to seat in the brass but have been reliable. It wasn't so bad in my Lee autoprime but when that broke and I switched to Frankford Aresenal, it became a workout to seat more than 100 primers at a time.

I had 5 or 6 out of a few thousand fall out of a 223 case and jam up my AR. Those were with 5.56 pressure loads though.

I'd buy them again if there was no other option.
