Wow on your gun.I was out yesterday and I found this Nickel 2.5" Model 19-3 literally hiding under the counter at Sportsman Warehouse it looked pretty rough with some ugly faux broken pearl looking grips, very dirty on the outside like some kind of film or crust, tight lockup and not much of a turn line. a few nicks ect. I could rub off some of the film / crust or what ever it was with my fingers so I asked them for the bestest price so for 6 Benjamin's OTD I said yes.Took her home and with some elbow grease, Mothers and Fritz and then added some nice grips I had I think I have a keeper. RIGHT!!! GeeeshHey Snake, do me a favor, would ya?
Just rattle off 6 numbers. Any 6 numbers between 1 and say 69 or 70. Just any ol’ six numbers in that range...
That’s a sweet find Snake. It looks great. Let us know how she shoots.
I had this one 35 years. It was my Bar B Que gun I wore to the Sheriff's Posse grounds Bar B ques when I was a Reserve LEO in Monterey County Calif . a couple decades. Those are the legendary Fuzzy Farrant grips Fuzzy made for me of Zebra Wood in the Late 80s. I wore this gun in a floral carved Tio Sam days ElPaso Saddlery holster on a Tony Lama woven horse tail hair silver mounted belt . , I ought to Flitz it too ! It would look great ! Another close to my heart piece I am not planning on selling .
