I just Got A box of Xtreme Copper plated 9mm’s and can’t find A Powder load data for them using either CFE PISTOL or Unique?!
They are 115gr. And I just want A good Safe load for my M&P shield( 3 1/2 barrel)! Please Any Help? Thanks!

I have run X-Treme & Powerbond plated 124 Gr "HP" bullets along side jacketed 124s and the velocities almost mirror each each.

Work up to midrange jacketed data and you can hardly get into trouble unless you load a lot shorter/deeper than the data. There is some plated data outthere in powder company online PDFs if you search for it.

I use Xtreme and Berry's bullets. Rule of thumb has always been to use load data for lead bullets of equal weight.

This off Berry's webpage:

Load data from any load manual or website can be used. Full-metal jacketed, lead bullet, or plated bullet load data can be used as long as the following standards are adhered to:
  • The data contains the correct grain weight of bullet.
  • Berry's max recommended velocity is not exceeded. (This info is displayed on bullet boxes and product webpages.)
    • Standard Plate Bullets Max Velocity: 1,250 fps.
    • Thick-Plate Bullets (TP) Max Velocity: 1,500 fps.
  • Do not over-crimp the bullet. Crimping so tight that bullet deformation occurs, or plating is separated causing visible exposure of the lead core will cause tumbling, key-holing, and reduced accuracy.
Load data containing bullet descriptions such as Plated (P,) Berry's Bullet (BERB,) Total Metal Jacket (TMJ,) Copper Plated (CP,) or CPJ (Copper Plated Jacket,) refers to plated bullet data.

Been using Berry's 115gr rn plated with a load of 5.0 gr of CFE. It's in the middle of the range for that combo.

OAL at 1.100" -Sry forgot to post it

When i think plated bullets in 9mm, im thinking VOLUME shooting. Often indoors. When i think of volume shooting in 9mm, I want accuracy. I want cleanliness. I want efficiency. Low recoil and lowest noise possible. Low flash is also a consideration for me.

Ive had great luck with Xtreme bullets 124gr HP (target hollow point) They go through my Glocks factory barrels accurately and leave no fouling.
Accurate. Very uniform lot to lot over the last decade. Plating is well bonded to the lead. Also considered "thick plated". Plated bullets are in general much more finnicky than Cast lead or jacketed bullets, so im very critical of my plated bullets.
(Ive seen plating from other manufacturers peel away from the lead more easily, which causes accuracy issues, keyholing, etc but maybe that was just bad dumb luck)

Ive recovered several projectiles in backstop material, and the plating is always intact on the xtreme HPs and not separated where the crimp line is, that is if the bullet wasnt deformed by impact.

As always, i use moderate data with these plated bullets keeping them between 1000fps and 1100 fps. NO I dont use Alliant's website max load data for Power Pistol or Blue Dot....jeepers creepers, too Hot for me.

(The following is within published data)
WIN 231 at 4.2gr with 1.100 OAL 124 XTReme HP
is my all time favorite load out of my SIG P228 or Glock 34, shooting the tightest groups, and anywhere from 1000 to 1040fps. WIN 231 and Xtreme bullets are the cleanest combination, often going 1000+ rounds and not cleaning the guns. Little to no flash in the 34, which at my dim lighted indoor range is a BIG deal to me. Ive also found that WIN 231 makes less noise and recoil than other powders ive tried in this velocity range. But that could just be that im used to this load after 10000+ rounds of it, and that new loads are just "different" and noticeable. Good Luck.

My current go-to for Berry's 115g 9mm is seated to 1.100" over 4.1g of Tight Group. I tried seating them higher (all the way up to 1.030"), but accuracy dropped as did velocity. Out of my 4.5" XDm, seated the mentioned loads are spitting out at just a hair over 1100 fps.

With that said, I've also ran them over 4g flat of Bullseye and those work fine as well.

Recently opened a case of Xtreme 124 FP.
Ran a ladder test in my Glock 17L with W231, 4.0 to 4.6 in .2 steps. All functioned perfectly, didn't get a chance to test for accuracy yet. I'll use the Kimber for that.
Love W231 in 9mm, like you said, low noise and low recoil.
