What’s the strangest thing on your reloading bench?

Ok, someone has to say it - pics or it doesn't exist.....
Actually, I posted a pic a year or so ago and the moderator said that this was a family friendly forum and removed it.
Even though its small and not like an impaler5000, I tend to agree with him. Taking the motor out is probably a better route. I just didnt want to have to figure a way to power it if I took the motor out.

I don't know if a vibrator would make a difference with Ball or small grained powder, but it was essential to avoid the occasional one grain charge of large flake 700X. Which would clear the barrel but was an embarrassing "blooper." I guess my aquarium air pump is retired, I loaded the last of my 700X a couple of weeks ago and have no plan to buy more.

When I tried the vibrating the powder drop thing I used an old electric razor motor. Long cord and an on/off switch.

Lol! too early for this?

Just grab an old cell phone and tear it to bits to get at the "vibrate" motor. I know I've got a few laying around that are long past serviceable... You might even be able to salvedge the battery as a power source, too.

Take the remains to the electronic waste bin and you're done.

The water proof battery powered vibrator would probably work best. unless it’s a brushless motor, its might make sparks

A good point, for sure - we are dealing with highly flammable powder, after all!

Maybe pot it in epoxy, or go the self-contained route is best.

I have a 6" piece of piano wire left over from my slot car racing days in the 1960's. It was the material used to build my chassis. Now, I use it to poke out the media from the flash hole in the cases. It has some sentimental value. I've missed placed it a time or two and have panicked a bit until I found it.

I have 2 pins I made back when I was working as a Tool & Die repairman I used them for the same purpose until I started wet tumbling, now I use them to recover primers from dropped rounds found at the range. I just tap out the primers using a small block with a 45° champhered 1/4" hole in it. I don't always have the proper tools to reload but this will remove primers from everything up to .45 caliber.

I used a aaa battery insert from a dead flashlight. A little solder and a switch.

There is a collection of odd stuff on my shelves. Probably the most interesting is a few 37MM anti-tank rounds dated 1917 and 1918. I also have loaded 20MM and 30MM rounds on display. Then there is the odd assortment of recovered bullets, a few odd wheelweights, a few odd lead ingots, a loaded 223 case jammed into the neck and shoulder on another separated case. Probably a few other things.

Sorry, no vibrators! :(
