A REAL Gunshop

Very cool, but where are the dead animals?

My favorite shop has a full body mount of a polar bear standing on two legs. It's probably 11 or 12 feet tall. Any notion that something less than a 44 magnum would be enough was dispelled the first time I walked in that shop.

Are the machine guns for sale? I see tags hanging from each gun.....perhaps price tags? I believe Oklahoma is part of the United States, unlike some other.....never mind. Any gun shop that displays Ma Deuce and her little brother qualifies as a gun store in my book.

Looks like the tag says "$39.99" on the bottom row.
Just above that says "if you even think about touching, it'll cost you"

I could be mistaken though.

It was built in 1908 and was not papered or deactivated.
As a Destructive Device, it can be added to the Registry for just $200, and does not need deactivation.
DDs are not on a Closed list.

Deactivated which is welding the breech shut, or a bar across the chamber, or a bore diameter hole cut in the chamber, and there's no real paperwork, as it's not a DD.

My favorite gunshop is a hardware store (no pun intended) that has been in the same family for at least 3 generations, maybe 4. Wooden floors that creak when you walk on them. The gunshop part is on half a mezzanine. Will order anything but displays consigned guns and trades mostly. The family collection of Winchesters is mounted on the wall with swords and other accoutrements, and don't miss the full size stuffed giraffe. Good people, fair prices.
