I went on a grand adventure with my son today to check this place out. It was way bigger and better than I expected. The cost for the day is 15 dollars and includes access to all facilities. The bathrooms are the real deal with flushing toilets and sinks to wash up. Important on hot days and if your lady or daughter comes. 20210319_130105.jpg this is the schedule posted at the front gate and I could not find it posted on line.
Right as you drive in the front gate there is a building on you right with a walk up window where you pay and sign your release. All the "good stuff" is straight ahead to the back of the property. The first range of consequence is on the right and is their long range at 300 yards. This was empty all day and can have a range master when in use but none was present. 20210319_131157.jpg 20210319_131157.jpg 20210319_131245.jpg the second area of interest is a tri range set in a side by side configuration. Two pistol bays and a 100 yard range. 20210319_135053.jpg

View attachment 986028are y'all shooting in this event also?
I have been to the Memphis range if that's the one in Lakeland. The cost to join was 1k and first years membership was another 1k. Its purposely made super expensive to keep people out. There are NRA matches there that are open to non members. It a shame it's such a nice place.

That's above my pay grade... These are $65.00 to enter both Light and Heavy benchrest per day per event including lunch.
I know a few guys shooting there today and tomorrow.

my buddies deer lease with 50 acres of of pine tree land, a bbq shack, gravel road, shooting burrm, 5 deer towers... $600 a year

My club is $50.00 per year plus mandatory NRA membership. There is an initiation fee for the first year. Total for the first year is about $100. We have a 300 yard rifle range with shooting benches and covered. 200 yard high power that doubles as a shotgun/clays area and a 50 yard pistol range.
Pretty good facility for $50.00

My Gun Club in Seattle is $130 a year and it’s in the middle of a neighborhood. Club was there 1st ...lol

Do they do anything on McIvor or is it just a square practice range?

I used to shoot pretty regularly at the Memphis range; Trap, IPSC, IDPA, F-TR MR, but that was years ago and it is farther than I care to drive these days.

I am very fortunate to belong to the Hudson Falls fish and game club for $100 a year.It is a great place and an asset to our community.
