Got 250 rounds of ammo too, delivered under $300 for Federal Vmax which I think is at the time reasonable . I fired two magazines in a dumpsite target range and was losing too much brass to continue but I LOVE it ! Good trigger , just about 4 pounds and decent. I think I will put a Shield/J point on it , it's ready for it !

I do Not have a holster yet and will wait until after I get a Jpoint installed. I probably will go with a chest rig of some sort , it is a little too big to put in Kydex on my belt , I think. I sorta adjusted the sights in the one box of 50 rounds I fired . It was leaned across the back of pick up at about 30 yards , big noise but I was wearing head phones. No real recoil ! :) I am lining up a set of dies and got all the other components including a lot of .22 Hornet bullets around. This looks really fun ! Got mine before they ban the mags, Ill pick up two more normal capacity ones. I would never have sprung for an FN , and the Ruger service and MADE in Prescott !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go, looks like fun! Loading will save you some cash! Hope you can find some small pistol primers!

Enjoy!

I let a little stimulus go to a lgs for a used Ruger.

Ruger Mk ii Government Target with a 6 7/8 inch barrel. Pretty accurate but with a few cycling issues to iron out.

A guy let me shoot his FN Five-Seven last year. I liked it. When I saw that Ruger was coming out with this model I thought it would be very cool to own. Looks like I will have to wait a couple of years though. They won't be offered to us "mere mortals" here in Costa Oeste Socialista (my new name for California).

That looks like a cool acquisition, Gordon. Thanks for the range report.
