What ammo are you finding and for how much?

I have not seen any 22lr around here, but tons of 12ga. Any walmart I go to has it on the shelf in 100 round boxes for 22.50 and 25 rounds for 5.47 from 6 to 8 shot. I see 350 legend quit often.

Virtually nothing to be had locally. I think I recall some 270 WSM and 6.5x55 and there was definitely 12g bird shot.

Part of me wants to cash in on the 7N6 spam cans I have at probably 8-10 times what I paid. The rest of me says "nyet."
Best keep em!

I shoot .17 hm2,22 lr,.22 hornet,.22 tcm, .32 swl,.32 hr mag,.32-20,9 mm,.38 special,357 mag,.41 mag,.44 special,.44 mag, .44-40,.45 acp,7.62-39,45-70,7mm Mauser,12 ga,I can always find something to shoot

22LR, 1000rd brick for $42. Seemed like a good price so I topped things off.

I get email notifications and .22lr are all running about 16 cents per round - I pass

I've seen Russian 7.62x39 go back in stock at almost exactly 100% higher prices than before shortage times.

This may have been posted, as I didn't read every single post. I've been to gun shows and 9mm target ammo runs $40-$50 for 50 rounds. I found 9mm JHP ammo for $80.00 for 50 rounds, for the same ammo I paid $30 for a year ago. I was talking to an employee at Academy last week, and he said to be at the store at opening, which I believe is 9 a.m., on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and they have 9mm target ammo at $18/box. He said to arrive early.

Got some South Korean mil surp .30 Carbine, two bandoliers, each 120 rounds each in 10rd stripper clips, boxer non-corr primer, brass case. Even with shipping, handling, sales tax, my cost per round was less than the alternative: only .30 Carbine local was Tula berdan primed steel case at 88 cents a round including sales tax.

Did a sight check with my M1 Carbine and the group at 100 yards matched my last group of PPU commercial .30 Carbine ammo in POI and size.

Recently I bought 2000 rounds of Winchester 22lr for $52 each including sales tax or $.052 per round at a local Walmart.

Now if I could just find some primers. I refuse to pay $175 the scalpers are asking for 1000 small pistol primers. The guys at a local Academy say the get them once in a while.

This is the best deal I've seen in over a year....
IMG_20210327_124358.jpg if I thought I needed it, I'd probably jump on it. From what I hear double isn't that uncommon.

Eta: It's not M855, never hear of the company so not sure of quality. Also, on the labeling it says "1000rd stripper clips w/ magazines loaded". Not sure what that's about either..... magazines loaded? Also, "NATO compliant? Anybody ever seen NATO compliant ammunition.

Here in Fairmont WV 9mm is going for around $30 per 50. .22 is going for $80 for 500 rounds. No .357 available

Picked up a 20 round box of Winchester Silvertip .38 special hollow point at the LGS today for $16.99. Figured I'd go ahead and bite the proverbial bullet considering the scarcity of most anything .38 special ammo around these parts right now.

Yup, that's one thing I never see anymore. Haven't seen a box of .38spl ammo since all this started. Last box I bought was $14 for 50/Magtech. I was seeing 50rd boxes of .32acp for $21 for a while, guess I should have bought em cause I don't see em now. It was at the start of winter and it looked like things were winding down and then, well....you know.

Local Walmart had 15 boxes .22LR Federal Auto Match 325 rounds at $17.73 a box.

I actually saw a bunch of 5 round boxes or Rem 12 gauge #1 and #4 buck shot at a lgs in another town.

They also had some Fed Fusion 223.

They had other ammo as well
