Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Went down to the show at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando yesterday. $12 entrance fee!

Nevertheless, there was one dealer who had brass and other components available. Bought a box of 32acp brass. Not sure how many, but the volume of brass in the box seemed to be slightly more than the volume of a bag of 500 count 380 brass I compared it to. She asked $50, but took $40 so that largely negated the door fee. This was the first 32 brass - new or used - I've been able to find in a year.

Also picked up two well used, but still quite serviceable Pelican cases for ten bucks each. They're dirty, scuffed, and have remnants of old adhesive labels stuck here and there which makes them perfect for water tight storage that no one will (hopefully) think appears valuable.

On the way home we stopped by A.W. Peterson's in Mt. Dora where I scored an RCBS two-die set in 7x57 for $30.

All in all, a good day spent with my shooting partner cruising a show and several gun stores on the way home.

Had to go into town today for some ply wood for a wood shed were building, got a few goodies and price was not much more then normal. There were a few other things I would have liked to grab but after paying $43 per 4'x8' set of 3/8 ply wood I was about broke.

The green thing is the check piece for the thordsen ar stock since I needed one it was nice to find. Some round balls and caps for the 51 colt and a pound of pyrodex.

Hi...
Little gun shop tour today... five shops in southcentral Pennsylvania.
Bought a soft sided rifle case, a couple of loading blocks and a daily limit of 300 small pistol primers at the only shop that had any primers available. $5.99/100...price is slowly creeping up at this shop which is the last in the area to increase prices on primers.

Got my new ProChrono DLX in the mail yesterday. Now I need to go shoot some reloads and see how good or bad I did putting them together.

d

A pound of Trail Boss, a pound of Win 231 Ball, 100 more 9mm cases, and a Vortex Venom red dot.

Had a Burris Fastfire III I took off of a Glock MOS G19 and installed it on a Henry Big Boy X. Worked well. Decided to get another red dot and saw that the Vortex Venom had a bigger sight picture than the Fastfire, so I put the Fastfire back on the Glock and will install the new Vortex on the Henry. Can't wait to see how it does.

Got my custom McGowen 338 Federal barrel ordered this week, hopefully have it in a couple months. Found a great deal on another 10.5" Ballistic Advantage blackout barrel last night, ordered that to build my third blackout gun. An Aero LR-308 BCG from my local shop. Some other small things, magazines.

My new 6 BR Remage barrel came . so I went out and bought a new Remington 700 to put it on . Today I am taking a road trip to buy a CZ 527 with Mannlicher stock . Really excited for that one , big fan of anything Mannlicher .

Walked into Walmart and surprise, surprise they had some ammo. One box of rifle ammo but I don't remember what cal. 10 boxes of Winchester double x 3inch 12 gauge #4 shot and 10 boxes #5 shot. Some 12 gauge # 8 shot and some 20 guage shells. I don't really need any shot shells so I only got one box of #4.
I don't much care for Walmart but I have to say that "when" they do have ammo they Don't charge the Rediculous prices like others do. They stick to their normal price.

2 325 round boxes of Federal Auto Match at my local Walmart. $17.73 a box. There were about 15 boxes left. Only other ammo were 12 gauge shotgun shells.

Lyman ammo checker in .260 Remington. Had to drop out of a match Saturday due to a handful of out-of-spec cartridges. I'll go back through my process to figure out where I misstepped, but I'm going to check every cartridge going forward.

A new Scheels just opened this weekend near me thought I would brave the craziness yesterday during my lunch break. They had powder available, I was able to pick up a pound of Accurate #9 but unfortunately they had a 1lb limit so Trail Boss still eludes me lol. No primers available and the waiting list to even get into the gun area to look at guns was one hour long.....this is on a Monday at 1:30pm mind you.

An Anderson lower.
And then went home and got a Bear Creek Arsenal upper.
Then supported Midway for a stock, a front sight, tools, and small parts.
And then some smaller Gunbroker sellers for the rear sight, buffer tube kit, foregrip...

LGS's are bare, tried 3 different times to purchase a left hand Savage 220 bolt shotgun, and all three times with different vendors my order got cancelled....out of stock, despite me getting the notification they have some in stock. Guess I gotta sit with my finger on the switch.....
