What is the last gun that you bought?

A good day at the LGS, picked up a RIA GI Standard 1911 5" .45 ACP for a decent price and 2 (50 round) boxes of Winchester .45 ACP 230 grain to go along with it.

1940 Winchester model 75.
Redfield rear sight and Winchester 105a front sight. Not too bad.

Ran across a gunshow I didn't know about this weekend and dropped in. Found her just sitting in a corner and thought I found a 52 for a second.

Now to find a 52 to keep it company.

A Savage 24C, which had had a hard life (not through use, but I suspect someone stored a basically brand new rifle upside down, somewhere damp (probably a bit of buried white tube ;) ). Was past my skill level to repair barrels, so got a gunsmith to trim and recrown barrels, and, as it now had no collector value, to ream the .22lr top barrel to .22WMR>> I lucked out, it is a shooter, with the 20G bottom and now .22wmr top, aligned in the vertical, and 3 inches different at 25m.
Trimmed ends of muzzles, recrown of .22 barrel..JPG

And PS I still have my first rifle and shotgun

Dutch Mannlicher hasn't even shown up yet and I run off and win a H&R repro trapdoor carbine on gunbroker. Figure I'll end up picking up both at the same time after the first.

I bought a used Marlin Glenfield 60 squirrel gun from my local gunstore/pawnshop. It was listed for $225, I asked if theyd take $200, owner countered saying hed go one better and said $150. Sold. Too bad I can't bring it home for another 2 weeks

Okay, struck again. I am now the proud owner of a Zastava (Yugoslavia shown as country of origin) bolt action .22 long rifle. Wanted a CZ, but this was half the price and very well assembled. Has iron sights and a scope mounting rail. Old eyes are clamoring for a scope. For 22 lr probably a fixed 3x.
I did the same thing only in 7.62x39 ... as you mentioned, very well made and 1/2 the price of a CZ

Picked up a "new" (bought 20 years ago by previous owner, never fired, stuffed in a safe since) FEG Hi Power this past weekend...

I have a well worn FEG Hi Power ... still completely reliable, I only wish I could find a couple more mags ....

I have a CZ in 7.62x39mm. Is yours a bolt gun?

I suggest gun shows. Sooner or later, most everything turns up. I found a couple S&W Model 39 magazines. If you don't remember, S&W quit making them in the 1980s according to wiki. (I thought it was earlier than that.) You might try online either one of the "old gun" parts places or Ebay if you're truly desperate.

Eternal Arms Bullpup 12 gauge shotgun. No pics until it gets here...but it’s only 30” overall length!

Picked up a Rossi RS22 for a cheap plinker recently. Thing was giving me fits with FTE every few rounds. I managed to track the problem to a poorly finished magazine (it would snag the bolt on the way back) and it is running reliably now. Got pretty good at stripping/reassembly in the process. :D

Would you believe a Beretta A400 for $150. I just found out today I won the one our club was raffling off for the high school trap club. Tickets were $20, 7 for $100 and three for $50. I bought 10. Now to do the paperwork and wait. Biden would be proud if it was a double but now it will probably be classed as an assault weapon (on clay birds)

If you're looking for original FEG magazines, Numrich has them (or did as of a week ago)...search under "KBI" as manufacturer instead of "FEG". Otherwise, MecGars are pretty easy to find...I ordered a few from Midway.
