Stopped by the LGS this morning and picked up 2 (50 round) boxes of Blazer Brass .45 for the 1911 at $17.99 per box. They also had 12 gauge, 5.56, 9mm, and 7.62. For once the shelves almost looked stocked up.
so, on the labeling it says "1000rd stripper clips w/ magazines loaded". Not sure what that's about either..... magazines loaded?
If it's spec'ed as "5.56" it's NATO-compliant; if it's spec'ed as ".223 Rem" it's not. Sorry if this already answered; maybe that wasn't even the question. Ya, seen a lot; shot some today.... "NATO compliant? Anybody ever seen NATO compliant ammunition.
Yeah they actually do. $600 for a case of Wolf .223 still kind of hurts and if I wasn't sitting on a few cases I would probably bite down hard and do it since that's the best I've seen in a while. I saw they had the IMI 77gr razorcore, if they had the 69gr razorcore I would have. It's the most accurate in my SS PSAIf it's spec'ed as "5.56" it's NATO-compliant; if it's spec'ed as ".223 Rem" it's not. Sorry if this already answered; maybe that wasn't even the question. Yeah I split a 200rd case of Black Hills 77gr MK262 with my uncle right before it went sideways, like $.80/rd. I had some Fiocchi 77 SMK's and shot most of it before the nonsense, kind of wish I savored it more but that stuff wasn't as accurate as the BH or IMI for whatever reason. I favor the 69gr for accuracy, 55gr for blasting. Even before it was kind of hard for me to get my hands on 69gr.69 grains is pretty damn hard to find. lots of 55 around these days, esp steel case, and I got lucky and got a bunch of 75 just before Covid hit, but one of my rifles seems to not like anything but those middle weights. Well ... it's the Mini-14 ... what would you expect, eh?
