I admit to being a glock fan being mildly familiar with the sig p6. Today on a whim i bought the sig 320 FCU. Now I need turn that into a complete gun. Looks like options on sig website are very limited. Any one know of other places that sell complete kits? Could I put a compact grip with a full side slide? Any info is helpful

TIA

You could, but it is likely that there will be a gap between the front of the frame's dustcover and the rear edge of front of the slide.

Interestingly this doesn't usually occur when mating a FS slide with a Carry frame. The Carry model is a Compact slide mated to a full size (heightwise) frame module. Fitting a FS slide to the Carry frame is a very popular look...it's like an M17 without the thumb safety

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this.

Besides having a Grip Modules in a choice of Full Size, Carry, Compact, and Sub-Compact, they come in 3 sizes (Large, Medium, and Small). Then you can choose between the Standard and X profiles or materials Polymer or aluminum (AXG)
The slides also come in 4 lengths Sub-Compact, Compact, Full Size, and X5. You can also choose between slides cut to accept optics or not

I have a ordered the complete kits from SIG, they only show the M17 and M18 kits currently. But keep looking. The full size 40 kit I got was under $400 with night sights.

That is exactly what I'm talking about. I wish they sold complete uppers, I only see m17 and m18 listed. I would prefer 40. The closest I have been able to find so far is a pre order kit on brownells

Keep looking. Call them, might be able to order one and it will ship when its available. I am pretty sure I waited a few months for mine.

Today I ordered the m17 conversion kit that will at least give me a working firearm. After looking around that definitely seems like the best value. I'm curious to see how the m17 compares to the m17. When the 40 kit come in at midway I'll plan on picking one up. In the meantime at least I can play with grip modules.

kode, when i sell my p320c. I will be selling my 40 kit separate. When that happens. I will message you and see if you are still looking for one. Its only seen one mag of ammo.

I have seen them at PSA Retail stores, and Smoky Mountain Knife Works. Look around stores locally, you may get lucky.

I might be wrong about the size frame I have, but I bought my Sig P320 configured with the full-size slide and barrel and the small compact frame, and there is no gap.

You're correct. I checked and found what I had mis-stated. I should have posted that there might be a gap between the FS slide and the dustcover of the X-Compact grip module

The Compact slide is 3.9", the X-Compact slide is 3.6"

How is it possible, I wonder? I was looking for these things everywhere. Nobody can order them. SIG has a snazzy website for the FCU but they aren't taking orders.

The local gun shop got in an order for like 15 FCU and i guess they sold out in a week. I managed to buy the 2nd to last one. I went back and ordered the m17 kit just to make sure i ended up with a conplete gun. I also ordered the wilson grip module. The configurator thing on the sig website has some very tempting options but after holding the p210 in the shop I'm going to hold off any more for the 320.... I wasnt looking, the FCU just seemed to good to pass on.
