I saw some one piece muzzloader bullets somewhere. Not a sabot but the plastic seals were attached directly to the bullet somehow. Who makes these and can they be had in .45 caliber?

Maybe it is Powerbelt bullets I was looking for. I checked the Powerbelt site and ordered 30 bullets so that is what I am going with. Thanks for the reply. Like everything these days they seemed to have little in stock and a lot that said sold out. 30 of these is 2 lifetime supplies for me I expect. Now if my 45 caliber barrel makes it through the mail I will get to try them.

You could also try some cast 45 cal maxiballs. I believe Track of the Wolf sells them and plenty of us cast them as well.

I’m not crazy about the power belt bullets. They weren’t great in anything I’ve tried them in. Kind of a gimmick, IMO. A bore sized bullet compatible with the rate of twist seated over an oversized wool or vegetable wad is hard to beat. I think No Excuses bullets even have a sampler pack if it’s necessary.

My next mold will cast this bullet. I currently shoot mostly bullets around 4-500 grains in 45 and this 340 grain bullet will be a treat. D0D27521-E874-497B-964B-BAB0318F9376.jpeg
