Had to drive each way 909 miles to Nephi Utah to pick this up. Kevin is better set up than ever and made this for me in payment I had had made a few years back that he was unable to do because of life events, but he did !
It is called Ranasaurus and it is an 8 1/2" by 2" wide 1/4" stock of nasty razor double edged, perfectly symmetrical ground. The handle is Panther sized and balance is correct and featherlight for the size ! The handle was requested in somewhat rare red because Of the inscription on the blade for me to commemorate the greatest Presidency since Teddy R. And remember how good was the USA becoming.
The first blade he made of this custom stretched Voodoo Frog knife he designed at a SEAL team request cracked , very slightly after the final hardening because I insisted on lower blade serrations against Kevin's advice ! He uses that cracked blade to demonstrate the strength of his knives currently with the old 90 degree in the vise bend and it springs back perfectly. It is made of prehardened Starrett 01 with the lower edge hardened to 63 rockwell C , the rest differentially hardened. Flat ground of course with a hair popping convex sharpening top and bottom.
I'm keeping this one, a son is getting it. I doubt the Chinese who snap up his products could bring it to China.:)

The Chinese businessmen who are successful enough to afford these and other custom knives made by American craftsmen are having no trouble at all getting them home. I've handled a few pieces going to China before they were packed up and shipped out. Years ago it used to be wealthy Japanese businessmen buying Loveless and other top American collectable knives, now it's Chinese businessmen who appreciate our artisans enough to pay for them.

However this Trump 2020 masterpiece will surely lower their social credit score in China
