I bought this used off GB three years ago. It’s a 687. I’ve never seen one like it before. I did see one on GB a month or so ago. The seller stated that the gun was rare and that Beretta only made this model for a year (1980). I’ve heard that this variant was only made and sold in Europe, but I’ve never been able to confirm that. The wood would pretty much match what Beretta calls 2.5 grade today. The toe of the stock has a brass inset that some people have their initials engraved on. The stock has a gloss finish. Overall, I would rate the gun around 98% with the usual handling marks. I paid $1500 for it. Can anyone give me any additional information about this gun? 67C03530-F5D5-4A31-A3C9-68D26C9C1197.jpeg F0060C70-6002-40BD-88AA-337EAAEA3365.jpeg B54B15FA-8ADB-4761-98A5-73E2F075070D.jpeg

Most of the information I am getting on the 687 is that most were trap guns made in 80's-late90's. They Say 687EELL Pigeon Grade. A bit of a premium if has choke tubes. New ones made in the last few years are a bit pricey. Might help to have barrel length and any more information on the barrels and in the under lug area, what chokes it is, full view of gun. Any way you have a very nice Beretta shotgun.

That isn't a pigeon grade gun and darn sure isn't an EELL...not 100% sure it's a 687, probably a 686. More than likely it's a Duck Unlimited gun...at least as far as I can see. As to value $2k would be top...very top, barrel length "hurts" value in today's market as everyone is going longer (30")
