OP you actually like it here? It’s not vulgar or derogatory enough. Pretty much everyone is helpful. There’s a ton of knowledge that people are willing to just give away for free. Some members even give stuff to other members when they are in need. It’s almost to the point of being pleasant to come here. Bah Humbug I say!!

I have tried a number of gun boards and have found THR to be the best!

Welcome Aboard! When I speak of THR I often quote Hemingway ~ that it is "A clean, well-lighted place." They do not suffer dingbats and morons who offer poisonous/illegal/dangerous/or plain stupid ideas and opinions here. And this makes things MUCH more pleasant and reliable for us all.

Well, do it anyway. Friends keep telling each other the same stories over and over again, and pretend they've never heard them before, just because they're friends.

That's a good way to put it.
I like seeing repeats of the old info with a new twist.
New powder, bullets, etc make some of the old stand by info slightly outdated. But the old data and techniques are still useful.

Hiya Coalcracker. Assuming the same handle, I ran into you on another forum. There's lots of good forums, one has to be the best. That's THR, IMNSHO. About the perfect blend of humor, information, suggestions, expertise, and good natured ribbing. I'll bet you'll like it here.

I agree with the sentiment OP. I post on other gun boards and the members here are just a higher class of people, IMO. Not nearly as much drama. This has been my experience.

@CoalCrackerAl I fully agree with you. The THR has a great bunch of shooters, hunters, and collectors. Lots of good information and many friends.

Was an Indian in my Junior year. Lived on Rock Street. Welcome aboard. Of the many gun forums I have visited this is the best moderated and second easiest one to buy/trade/sell.

Glad to have you CC. If you can't learn something here, you either know it all already or have a hard time learning. THR is the right name, 1st class members.
