So I placed my first order with RMR for some 223 bullets; 500 Hornady 62gr and 500 69gr MRM Bullets, Order was placed on 4/10 and I received them yesterday on 4/16! Very unexpected and most excellent! From the emails I was receiving from RMR I wasn't expecting them for another couple weeks.

I did not have the discount code and it didn't matter as I wanted them and it is still a good price. I paid $0.14.4 ea here and I was paying $0.13 ea from another vendor plus shipping costs so it is about a wash either way.

I have 100 Hornady 68gr Match bullets with 2 loads ready to test and then I will load these 69gr the same way and compare them. Really excited about this one!

If all bullets, and/or components are in stock, on the shelf, then the order is shipped faster. Those bullets that are in production is what takes longer, as they are running to fill continuous orders, and basically those they allow backorder on.

From the time I placed the order to the time I received the product I received 3 separate email from them. Outstanding! I know no other business that takes that initiative. In my mind that truly shows pride in your business.

Our 69 is now my favorite bullet. Granted, it took FOREVER to finally get it to market, and it has the biggest learning curve and we've made the most changes to it along the way, but it sure turned out to be an awesome bullet. The copper color change is only a difference in how the supplier anneals the copper. It's the exact same composition so there shouldn't be any change in accuracy. That said, we found the bronze colored stuff has a slicker finish and we had to rough up the bottom of the first cupping station to keep it from wanting to draw crooked at full speed. Never had to do that before.

longdayjake thank you for your response. I am very excited to try these lil numbers out and work up some loads. I shot some 68gr for the first time on Sunday and the rifle really came alive with the heavier bullet so I am really expecting to see the same results with these.

Yesterday I showed the target to my friend an fellow RO right after I shot it and then told him of the order for your 69gr bullet and promised to share a handful with him to also test load. I have a feeling the two of us will be ordering many more.
