Surprisingly enough, the Flattop is the only one of the bunch that is completely satisfactory. The others all have or had their share of problems and are below average in the accuracy department.

Here's my flagship .44. A "best grade" custom by Jack Huntington. Built like the big bore five-shots, fitted with an oversized bolt, blocked action, oversized six shot, linebored cylinder with recessed chambers. Octagon barrel from a PacNor blank. Ruger #1 style custom front sight. Hand finished and stocked in Dall sheephorn by Rob Rowen.
