Bolt action it is! I was surprised that it has more recoil than I expected ... of course it’s not horrible but I was expecting just a bit more than a semi-auto, so I don’t shoot it much. My problem is I have osteoporosis, and while I could get some sort of recoil management system, but I don’t want to spend anymore $$ on it, nor do I want to set up to reload it. I bought it on a whim and hopefully in a few years I’ll have my bone density up to a normal range(+ or minus 1) and I’ll be able to shoot it without a recoil management device ... until then it’ll sit in the safe with my other bolt guns.

Swiss P75 (Sig P220) 9mm A code. Added KSD root walnut grips. Will nicely complement my West German Sig P226.
Well, I sold one of my collector pieces and figured I would “reinvest”...so I picked up a CZ P-01 Omega. Everything I like about the classic 75 series in a smaller package. I added a set of G10 grips and some spring changes to reduce the DA and SA pulls. It’s a tack driver...and a keeper!

Yesterday, celebrated the new job with a Heritage Mfg. Rough Rider. 6.5", .22LR, base cocobolo grips.
Learning its little quirks before I go shoot it, and this thing has an amazing trigger.

I'ts been a while since I owned a S&W Revolver and even longer since I had one in .22LR. I've never had one that held more than 6 shots, so when I ran across this one for a really great price....well I just could not pass it up. It is the Model 617 and it holds 10 rounds. I really like the larger frame as well. It's the latest I've bought!!

Another one for my .32 ACP auto collection. Another Colt 1903 (type III). Spots of surface rust, not pristine but pretty good. Same wretched sights and mediocre trigger pull. Bore is quite nice, un-pitted. I do collect other than Colt pistols. But I hope to find a Pocket Pistol of each type (variation) before I finish.
Didn't get to shoot it until last Tuesday. Fired a total of ten rounds at ten yards. (Not a fifty yard target pistol.) Target included.

I really like purple heart. My ex had me make her a crossbow out of purple heart. It's a strong wood and will last forever.
