My newest addition. It's been flawless with both factory FMJs and LRN handloads.

A Thompson 1911 with an old Colt Mark IV Series 70 barrel installed in it. Accuracy perked up quite bit with the Colt barrel. The barrel had about 3000 rounds through it when installed in the Thompson. I'm not sure how many more now.


A mid-1950's 38 Super with a 38 Special barrel installed. A work still in progress as I'm having trouble getting the gun to feed the last round. I might put the 38 Super barrel back in it.

A Colt Government model, accurized by James Clark back in the '60s.

I use to have a Colt National Match barrel which came from the factory along with a fitted barrel bushing. That barrel could take a 1911 with just average accuracy and turn it into a real tack driver!

My constant companion for 30+ years and now semi-retired. I've put in the neighborhood of 100K rounds through it and it still shoots lights out.
