I have been trying to get scope rings for my new CZ457 for over two months. They use an 11mm ring that no one local has in stock. That being the case, back in early March I ordered them from Optics Planet. The USPS lost the first shipment, but it took two weeks from the last update before anything could be done. Finally, they ship a replacement set and they show up. The problem is these have a cross threaded screw and are not useable. I get an RMA and ship them back. A little over a week from them receiving them back, they start an order to send me replacements, again. This time I get a tracking update email that says the label was created May 6, but there has been no activity since that time. I know they are swamped with customer service stuff, but it takes forever to get a response via email and you cannot get through on the phone. They are also not returning voicemails. I am pretty easy to get along with, but I have been trying to get these rings for over two months and still do not have them. Does anyone have a way where I can get in contact with them? I am not saying that they are a bad company, because they are not, but my frustration level is quite frankly starting to elevate. I want to shoot my new rifle!

i must be special. i never have problems with them. got my athlon, bushnells, luepolds and just last month a sightron from them. and i use the cursed paypal besides....a big whatever....
...btw i do have my never by from them no matter what mindset too, just a different company....ymmv

I don't wanna be that guy, but I don't order from Optics Planet anymore. The usual drop-ship company that is just a broker. At least they aren't Cheaper Than Dirt.

I ordered some 450 Bushy and 6.5 Grendel mags from them, took over 8 months to get them, even though they were listed in stock.

I did cancel part of my order, and their customer service was okay. I assume it's okay, because I have a suspicion it's a contracted customer service department. My guess is they hired a firm to work remotely and grant access to their database. The girl on the phone messed up and asked me which company I ordered from so she could swap systems on her computer. Maybe it was an odd day.

That being said, I don't know one company that answers voicemail. 50/50 on email. I bet your best bet is to keep calling at non-busy hours (weekdays not on lunch break) and keep trying daily. It's what I did

Well, I started calling at 9:00 am central time. I tried three times. Each time I sat on hold long enough that it sent me to their voicemail system, which they tell you in advance that they are not going to call you back on. I had never really purchased anything from them before, so I had no history. In fairness, the previous issues were not their fault, but being unable to get with them when your order is hung up in their system aggravates me pretty badly. Unless something changes quickly, they have received their last order from me. It stuns me how bad customer service is with some companies. I have a background in managing customer service or technical service departments. I now work in an industry where every manufacturers customer service is so bad, I would have fired people over it in my earlier life if I was over the organization. Good customer service is not hard, it just takes dedication.

I now have three "personal" CZ .22 rimfire rifles. I purchased three much better optics bases from DIP Products that adapt the 11 mm integral dovetail so that it becomes a picatinny rail and then any "normal" clamp on rings are possible. The base is very well machined and cost is around $35.00 or so, and definitely well worth it. Something to consider:

Before I knew how Optics Planet did "business" I ordered some shoulder holsters for my team going to Afghanistan. Something that we sort of needed, they showed in stock and I had a few weeks so fine. Well.................They didn't have them in stock and I was left scrambling to find them elsewhere after they ate up a few weeks of time jerking me around.

NEVER again. Many other places I'll go to first, or just throw my cash into the creek down the hill. At least with the creek I know the outcome and it isn't promising me anything.

I have Warne Rimfire rings on my two rimfire rifles, one of which is a CZ 512. The 457 and 512 use the same rings. The Warnes are available at a number of places including Optics Planet.

I never, ever do business with an online vendor without doing homework. Search "Optics Planet Complaint." Go to the BBB site and search them. Christ, we live in an information age and people refuse to inform themselves.

I have placed 3 different orders with OP. Each order was fine, except that they all took 3-5 months to arrive on products listed as "in stock"

Another couple of options would be Adorama and BandH. Both great companies, mainly focus on photography, but handle anything optics related.
