Sig 365 Comments?

As far as "primer swipe" is concerned, there may be a bit noted by some of the pistols, but it typically has zero affect on functionality, reliability or accuracy.
When people come up something like "primer swipe" to criticize a pistol, it must be a pretty damn good gun.;)

Like many others here, my search for the ideal carry gun ended with the P365.

Tons of comments out there already. I’ve already commented many times on many different message boards.

i love my P365. Buy one with confidence.

I don’t own one... yet... but many of the folks who’ve bought them here qualified easily and have had zero reported issues with their 365’s to date.

As was posted above, the 365 has been a real winner for SIG Sauer .

Stay safe.

Only cryptic for those who wanted to think it was cryptic. More than a few guys got the drift of what I was asking and put up some good solid information. Most of them did.

Wife's pocketbook in need. Thanks in advance
I could only guess what you meant here. Better worded easier to understand questions get better answers, every time. Don't be offended, just put a little more thought into the question next time, in other words, invest more effort to get better answers. Insinuating that some posters weren't smart enough to understand doesn't win any friends either. :)

I own an P365XL..had it before I acquired the P365. The objective was to get the grip length as short as possible for concealment. I run the Shield Plus with a 10 round mag..my XL doesn't conceal near as well as the Shield.
That could have more to do with the overall length -- P365XL is 6.6" and the Shield Plus is only 6.1". I'm talking about a 365 upper in a 365XL frame, which ends up being .2" shorter than your Shield but .2" taller. That should be as concealable or more concealable than the Shield Plus but give more grippable area than the standard 365.

There's also the P365X (not XL) that is worth looking into. I'm surprised how little the X is mentioned (always see 365 vs 365XL discussed). I didn't even know it existed until last week when I got an email advert from Sig.

As I mentioned, I owned them both. I did put the P365 upper into my XL frame. That didn't change the fact that the grip on the XL frame protruded just a bit more than I desired. My Shield with the 10 round mag gives me enough room to get some support for the pinky finger. I have a 13 round mag I could use that gives full support, so with the Shield that option is available to me. To be honest, I'm very comfortable with my pinky on the bottom of the mag after carrying and shooting a Ruger LCR with a short grip for several years. I carry IWB appendix and can say that the tail of the grip on the Shield virtually disappears under my shirt. To get a better idea of how that works, look at a comparison of the XL and the Shield Plus on Handgun Hero. For me, the Shield Plus gives me everything I've been looking for in a EDC pistol. That doesn't change my love for my P365XL. I'm fortunate that I have two pistols that fit my hand well. Comfort + shootability is everything in my book.

You guys sure are flaming this guy for the way he posed the question. I don't see the issue, I understood it perfectly. To stay on topic, I don't own a 365, but my friend does. I have shot it several times. Nice gun, but a little small for my hands.

How was my post inflammatory? I responded to a comment I felt was critical of those of us who initially perceived something different than the OP's intent.
Good on you that you understood what he wanted. I didn't.

I wasn't just referring to you

That's the same reaction I had after shooting it, I knew it wasn't for me. Where I live there are no places to rent a gun to try out first. When I handled it at the store it felt okay. I guess I should have spent a little more time fondling it.

My wife fired one, shot it well, and wanted it.

It is what is in her pocket book now.

I've had mine for a couple years, I'm happy with mine. It's more accurate than I am & I haven't had any malfunctions in 600 rounds. Would be higher but with the current cost of ammo I've cut back a little. Easy to carry & conceal, larger mags are available if the 10's feel too small.

Sounds like you've got a winning combination. Or two winning combinations. Congrats!

That's a great way to put it - fondling it.
