Hello I recently came in to owning a hollywood single stage bullet press. I was curious to see if anyone on here knows of how to get the Hollywood Manuel or knows where to get one!?

I'm at work at the moment. I have a bunch of pictures on my phone but apparently I can't add them that way. So I guess I gotta wait until I'm home.

There are some videos of using the old Hollywood presses on youtube . Not a manual, but maybe you can gain some knowledge of the model you have . Welcome to the forum .

Thank you! I've been watching the YouTube! Very good knowledge on those videos! And thank you!

I read that post. Nothing in there about getting a hollywood press manual! Thanks though

Does this Hollywood press have a universal shell holder or does it require separate shell holders for individual calibers? Seems there were a group of them that had interchangeable holders. Hollywood and C-H come to mind. They turn up on ebay all the time.

Beyond that, looks pretty straight forward.

Hollywood Engineering burned down a few years ago. Last I heard, Joe was trying to rebuild it.

He should just sell the name to someone that can do the work and get the company back on it's feet.

When I first heard of them (20 years ago) Joe wasn't a spring chicken and always had an excuse for why everything was behind. If you lived here in SoCal and could drive to the shop, he would take care of you. Otherwise, you got in something of a line like everyone else.

Yeah you have to switch out each shell holder. They all came with it. Lucky me!

Oh ok. That would be awesome to go right there and get a manual! But I live in upstate NY about 15 mins away from the PA border. Won't be making out that way anytime soon. Lol

You can also try eBay, you might find someone selling a manual. Probably a long shot but worth looking if you can't find one anywhere else.

Hollywood Gun Shop, the makers of thathose presses has been lon out of business. Excellent presses though and a lot of them are still around. I learned to reload on a Hollywood press some 50 years ago!
