Zincpoint Primers?

Well, 3 months have passed since Zincpoint charged my credit card for the primers. I had to request a chargeback from my credit card company before the 90-day deadline. I got my money back and of course no primers from Zincpoint. They kept using excuses like "It's UPS's fault." Looking at Zincpoint's reviews on AmmoSeek, this is their go-to excuse. Since my first post a couple of weeks ago, others who were unfortunate enough to receive their primers have also left reviews on AmmoSeek stating about 30-40% of the primers don't work. I guess I'm glad I never received them.

Misread post “get gouged” as “got gouged.” I’ve seen dubious primer sales on Gunbroker too, and they only guarantee against fraud up to $500.

I wonder if that 30% failure rate carried over to the second strike to see if it was a primer failure or if it was an operator failure to fully seat the primer.

PV had those Genix primers the other day for $85 bucks a brick limit 5. I passed, I don't need primers that bad...

Does anyone know where I can buy primers from one of those 3 primer factories that was opening up this summer?
late summer bro! they are running into a few hiccups, Permitting issue because it’s and explosive factory (essentially) just wait a few more months, gold primers will be showering on us!!!

What permits are these, and where were these permit applications filed?
I don’t know, I don’t run the company, Tom just mentioned it on Gun Talks last week. 3 New Primer Factories being built by current large ammo manufacturing companies!

How can primers have 30% to 40% failure rate?

If they aren't telling then likely "green" lead free primers, they don't sell if they are up front about it, and it's best to avoid them altogether.

Sh***y properties include (but not limited to) erratic ignition, sensitivity to moisture/humidity which ruins them, very short shelf life and abrasive residue left inside the barrel. Useless for the average reloader if you want repeatability of any sort, and especially no grit in your barrel. Funny how they leave that part out.

Did Tom mention late summer of which year? And how did he get exclusive rights to spread the rumor? Besides you I mean. ;)

Tom knows a few people in the gun industry and he’s very sure that the primer factories are going online at the end of summer
