Long range tuning

The speed variances I am seeing leads me to combustion weather that's powder, or primer seating variances, brass etc. but those pesky fliers are 25% I believe that is mostly the loose screw behind the trigger guard.

The wind was down to only about 12mph today which is a big improvement over yesterday that blew my flag and stand completely over, anyway this is an abbreviated charge test to ensure im still in my tune window.
I have two of each charge plus two foulers for both test.
Blue -30.4 xxx
Green-30.5 xx
Black-30.6 x
Red-30.7 xxx

500 yards
WSW- 8-12
Mixed cloud & sun

Not the best groups of course, 30.4 looks safe while 30.7 has potential to be great but also risky.

20210607_100608.jpg I made it back out this morning to have another look at 30.4 (blue) and 30.7 (red), after three foulers I shot four record rounds then wait till the flags became similar to repeat.
The obvious stand out is 30.7 .. Not sure what's up with that but small is small. Ill try to get one more look before we head out later this week.

20210613_150043.jpg 20210613_150106.jpg I had a fairly good weekend except for a few unexplained flyers on Saturday, thx to Alex Wheeler for spotting something in the ignition, mostly fixable on site save for a replacement FP spring and a touch more pin fall needed but my tune is good enough for the moment.

Two additional matches coming up July & August, I am planning on attending the latter being consumed by a small remodel im doing before winter hits is about all I can manage financially as well as time management.
So after my rifle smith/range mate made some adjustments to my rifle the other day i broke out a new lot number of bullets and had a look.
It appears and without a ton of rounds that 30.7 will be the same poi and very small as well.
More to follow
