Need help identifying a type 14 nambu pistol. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Super clean Type 14 you've got.
I'm sure you know the dating system (18 + 25 = 1943 - 9 = August).

Not sure just what help you are asking about.

For general care of the pistol, I recommend you never fire it on an empty chamber.
Instead, hold a pencil eraser against the breech face when pulling the trigger to help the firing pin life.
There is a reason for the issuing of a spare firing pin in the holster.

Also, if you have the combination cleaning rod/magazine loading assist tool, I would also suggest
you not use either the follower lock feature or magazine follower release spring (the sheet metal spring on the lower forward grip).
Those can also break - the spring does have some years on it.
While the magazine spring is fairly strong, it can be loaded by hand.

That whole magazine loading system (along with the enlarged trigger guard) was an attempt to have the pistol
be more user friendly in the colder climes such as Northern Manchuria.

Shooting? I recommend shooting at eye level to avoid an errant case to the face
and a wide brim hat to catch a good portion of the empties.
