Hello,
I really want a 327Federal(super)Magnum revolver with a 4" barrel and with target sights. I have reached out to Kimber explaining (begging really) that expanding there K6 line in 327Mag would be awesome especially since 32 cal has a devout fan base and for good reason too. Could y'all write or call and beg then as well maybe with enough inquiries they would consider it.TY.

Tnx, I know. They are going for +$300 over msrp on GB right now its crazy. Even broken SNS on GB are fetching too much, people are driving the prices through the roof

I have a Sp101 Target and the Kimber 4" DASA Target in 357Mag. The Kimber shoots really well (better DA & SA) and carries 1-1 in the exact same woods holsters. I am a wheel gun fan, a 1911 fan, no 1911 Kimbers in name lust.
Why the 327Mag?

This is one of those things where I laugh at all the people who told me "Buy a gun in a weird caliber! You'll always be able to find ammo for it!"

I don't know that I've ever seen one of those 3" SP101s in .327 Federal, nor have I seen any of the ammo in years.

I want 327 because I've got rapidly worsening joints and I can off the shelf download if needed, its the most versatile round in the revolver world I can go from personal defense to teaching little Suzy in a snap, the 32 is an extremely accurate round and I've collected more small game with a 32long than most have with a rifle. I reload I will never ever be without any cartridge I want if I just wish it. To sum it up 32 revolvers are classy AF and 357 can suck a tailpipe :)

These have been posted before but I seldom miss the opportunity to re-post. I had gotten rid of all odd calibers and then the 327 Federal Magnums started showing up. I tried one and, well, as you can see, I liked them. Also have the LCRx in 327 and 5 or 6 handguns chambered in the 32 H&R magnum. Reloading and buying ammo in bulk, when available, is the only way to go ! The top one is a GP100 seven shot and is as close as I'll ever get to owning a S&W K-32.

Nice! I'm Jelly as the young people say. I'd say a Manuhrin in 327 would be the ultimate then that Smith haha

- The “Bring Back the .32” thread in this forum has 10 pages of replies.

- Reddit has an active forum exclusively for .32ACP (but for no other caliber)

- My personal .32 fantasy guns have been described in almost identical detail by other members of this forum

- All the big players have already announced their hi cap microcompacts and have nothing left to do or say

- Ken Hackathorn and Chris Baker have come out of the .32 closet

- I have 32ACP and 32HR dies, and I’m not even a Gun Guy

- Brazos is begging America to buy .3125 bullets for 3.2 cents a piece

All of which means:

The time is right for the Great .32 Comeback

I didn't know many of those points, its neat Hackathorn is on board not surprising though, when on Wilson's YT channel he goes on about the 45acp and 357mag being hard to practice with since getting older

What an excellent channel. It’s Youtube for adults

I doubt there's enough general interest in that caliber to be worth Kimber's wild. I do not typically see that caliber talked about across firearms forums and social media, no do I see ammo for it in gun shops. I could see them going 22lr, 9mm, or 44mag long before any of these other niche calibers.

I've got 400rnds of 10mm loaded up with xtp's and VV to original levels of heat but my CZ clone couldnt handle the amount of food I fed it and went to pistol heaven :( I like the auto pistol caliber trend in revolvers but the ones making you run moonclips i don't like. If I remember correctly 9x19 performs better out of snubs than 38spc.

I'd love to see .327 get big, I'm just saying I haven't seen it yet. I've never been able to buy one or find ammo!

I'd hardly say 327mag is niche only due in part that 32 caliber revolvers have been wildly successful before the tides changed to .357 diameter projectiles, before Keith ran outta room in normal chamberings and the idea of more more more was becoming mainstream the 32's were highly regarded and the most accurate pistol shooters were running wadcutters to great capacity, having hunted with 32's its been the goldilocks caliber for small game

:) Kimber can name the 327 small-block magnum the "K6CAF" with appropriate "Classy AF" stamping down the barrel. Chambered in classy.

By "niche" I mean that the caliber just isn't widely popular in this day and time with consumers or ammo companies. The market shares are small. If they do come out with one, it will be after more popular calibers are released, and they are caught up on production.

Fair enough, I am not a huge oddball caliber guy with the release of so many new cartridges that are doomed to fail I was surprised that 327mag was one that fell short and didn't gain much larger following, that said the ones who do like it really like it and the guns get gobbled up. GB is a good example where even the single sevens are going for $800-$900

I will still shoot them a request and will have my fingers crossed for you.

LOL!!! When the shelves were empty of .22LR, 9mm and .357Mag there was still plenty of .32ACP to be found at the same prices as always - until all of the new, desperate buyers figured out .32's are good guns and starting foraging on them. Still plenty of .32 ammo to be found for $12/box of 50, though. How much is 9mm? :D

To be fair to common calibers 80% of the brass I pick up is .223 and 9x19, I just cleaned and sorted 10lbs of brass and the vast majority is 9mm then .223. In this ammo craze it eventually hit the reloading components so having the brass and lead is at least not a worry in comparison to powder and primers. I did find like 18 .32 S&W short cases which is beyond rare because its not available pretty much, you can of course trim down any revolver load and use trailboss but its still a pain
