Your alone Cabelas shelfs??? how

My LGS is completely stocked with everything except reloading components. How is Cabelas completely empty? there shelfs are more empty now than during last year pandemic???
 
My local gun shops raised their prices months before Cabelas did. Cabelas generally has more ammo than the local shops as well.

Very true, but I’m not sure they sell much clothing. and on a style note, their clothing is bland at best. Better to buy from REI or 5:11 for jeans
 
The sports store near me "not Cabela's" is stocked up with most ammo. Still slack on handgun ammo but did have some 9mm and 45 auto. Maybe I'm wrong but seems all the lgs near me are stocked with more import ammo. Some I've never even heard of.
I'm thinking when all this is over with. American ammo makers are going to eventually have to close or move out of the country. I don't think they are going to be able to compete with the foreign ammo that now found its way into the country. American people have already proven over again that they will not spend more for American made.

I’ll buy American made, at a decent price, but I’m not trying to make a rich man even more rich

I don’t get it, why would someone pay $600 for a 9mm when you can get just as good for $400? and some people can only afford $250 for a 9mm and they have the right to arm themselves too.

By 3:00 at Academy, three weeks ago, there were still several Dozen small boxes of 9x19 ammo, and a much larger quantity of .223 and 5.56 (hundreds of rds.) "tng. ammo".

We might not want to make rich guys richer....but if some of these ultra-rich guys (and Boards of Directors) are soon given a new tax incentive, to help slowly bring some of the pharmaceutical industry's segment, which is in China..... To The US, then it means less control over so much that we need to survive, plus many more jobs.

That's what I'm saying. American made $600. Brazil made $250. You price yourself out of the market and then cry that someone got rich? The people of Brazil don't care who got rich. They look at jobs created. People working. The people that got rich created jobs. Jobs put food on the table. Jobs put a roof over their heads. But not this country. To invest. To create jobs. To make it has become evil. To take everything from our kids and grandkids and spend it on Hate , Greed An Envy . The American way.

good point man… I usually buy American made, and I guess someone getting richer or else, why bother!

Was at Cabelas today, didn’t see anything 5hat looked like ammunition. Heard someone ask a clerk if they had any trap loads in 12 or 20 gauge. Nope.
