I’ve been using RM Holster for around eight years now.
https://rmholsters.com/
They come with a lifetime warranty. I never broke one until about a month ago. I cracked the top of the belt paddle on my Glock 48 holster.

I had to go into Baton Rouge to take care of a few things, and while I was at it I stopped in to see Kee at RM Holsters. I told Kee that I had cracked my holster, and he simply said, I’ll make you another one.
I then asked Kee if he still had some of the FDE material that he ordered to make my M17 and M&P 2.0 holsters with. He said yes. I told him that I needed a holster for my FDE Taurus TX22. Kee said that he would need the gun because, he didn’t have a mold for the gun.
Kee doesn’t live far from me but his shop is about 15 miles from my house. Kee said when he had my Glock 48 holster ready, he would drop it off at my house and pick up the TX22 at the same time.
Well last week Kee came by the house with the replacement holster and noticed the things I’ve been making with my new hobby.

I guess one really caught his eye because he picked it up and said. “How about we make a trade. I’ll make the TX22 holster for you and pay you the difference for the bowl? I said deal.
Today Kee stopped by with My Taurus and it’s new holster.

I’m extremely happy and Kee said that his wife loves the bowl.
Here’s the bowl he picked.

Gunny

I see your holster making friend has excellent taste in selecting a bowl. That was one of your Norfolk Island Pine bowls wasn't it?

Yes it was. I would have to say that it was the best looking one yet. I’ve turned four 10”x4” blanks already but this one had so much chatoyance, the pictures don’t do it Justice. I’ve got three more blanks of Norfolk Island Pine waiting for me to turn, plus a lot of other blanks. Just need to get the energy to get in the shop and get busy.

You do fine work Gunny! I never learned how to run a lathe, even tho my father had one and was proficient. Come to think of it I never learned how to run a hand saw or a piece of sand paper. :)
Your new holster is a perfect color match to the pistol, so Kee must be part exterior decorator!
Thanks for the fine photographs and keep in touch. Lots of us are always waiting for your posts.

What? Not a word about that beautiful custom made FDE holster for my TX22? And don’t forget that great customer service. :)
Let me just post another pic of the gun in the holster. Pay no attention to the Camphor wood bowl in the background, just something I was working on today.

Can you move the holster? It's kinda blocking the bowl.

I think members like my post because I post as if I were sitting with friends and talking about things we liked, or don’t like.
When ever I post about stock work, I don’t go to some file on a computer and cut and paste something that I wrote a while back, or something that someone else had written. I pretty much just go from off the top of my head, just like if we were sitting and talking. I don’t try to be someone I’m not.
Some say that I’m a bit of a story teller, but that’s maybe because I am. I would much prefer to hear a good story then just listen to some spouting off facts.
I wish I could make holsters, Kee would probably show me if I asked. But I have plenty of things that keep me busy.
I wasn’t posting to much there for a while, was a little under the weather for a couple of months, but don’t worry, I’m alive and kicking.
Maybe I’ll go to the range with my youngest son next week. He’s not big into shooting, but ask me yesterday about going. He likes the TX22 and I will most likely give it to him.
Here he is shooting it the last time we went shooting. And yes, he’s a lefty.

Dang, I'm wanting a bowl now myself.

Gunny, it's great seeing results from two artists with vastly dissimilar products. And yeah, my oldest is a lefty as well (how'd that happen?).
Mine got it from his mother, she’s a lefty too.
My other son, Austin is 23. He’s the one that loves to shoot and could load and shoot a M1 Garand when he was 12. He’s good with computers but lacks the skills to make things with his hands, I blames his mother for that also.:)
Austin once told my that I do everything good. I told him not so, and that I only do the things that I do good. I pay someone else to do the other stuff.
I don’t mind paying someone like Kee to make great holsters.

I got airplane tickets for 18-24 July in Shreveport, won't be able to stop then. I should be back the last two weeks in August. Customer isn't ready for our visit. The earlier trip is for a training class that I give. Still looking for a nice block of NY Hardwood for you. I am sure I will find one by then.

I have something gun related waiting for you.

Nice bowls. I am not going to let my wife look over my shoulder at this post. She already has enough stuff sitting on tables.

I would really like to have a good wood lathe but don't feel I can afford the building to put it in. My garage is already filled with tools to the point a motorcycle is all that can be fit in among them.

Nice looking holster and nice work on the bowls, too.

Do you know what thickness of kydex he uses for his holsters. I couldn't find it on his website.

I don’t remember what the thickness is. I’ve tried other kydex holsters that were thicker, but they weren’t as comfortable.

Kee is a great guy to do business with. If you have a special request like a different cant for the holster, Larger belt size or a different color. Just contact Kee and he willet you set up.
I saw a bright red mag holder that he made a while back. I’ve been thinking about getting him to make me a holster in red, just for the hell of it.

I have four RM holsters and a mag holder. Three of the holsters and the mag carrier broke like yours. I didn’t realize they had a warranty on them. I gave up on them and switched to Blackhawk. I really liked the RM holsters till they broke.
Give Kee a call. He should get you fixed up. The holster for my G48 is the first one I’ve ever broken. When I stopped in to see Kee, I didn’t have the holster with me and he never asked for it.
