I’m looking for something to make that very mistake on myself. I think I will wait though and use it on my first C&R whenever I get around to that.

Those make great 12ga flare launchers, too.

I accidentally bought 5 guns from GunBroker. I understand how difficult it is.

Nice cleanup. Looks great.

Maybe install a choke tube system on it, I had an 18.5 inch H&R with choke tubes, I carried it for turkeys when i was rifle deer hunting.

Project guns can be really good or disasters. You made yours a real bragging story. Thanks for sharing the pics

Nice job on the refinish. You ended up with a decent blueing on the barrel. What did you use to blue it with? I know you said H&R but that receiver looks just like the Savage/Stevens 20ga I own. I couldn't read the writing on the left side in the photos. But we'll go with what you called it.

No. Its a reason to not bid if you really don't want it. The OP even made a low counter offer and won the gun. It wasn't an accident. He pursued the purchase. Thankfully it looks like the OP ended up with a nice gun out of the deal. If he were to install a new bead on the barrel he could probably double his money on the gun.
