What's everyone using for priming tools now-a-days?

I still use a set of the old lee round hand primers that are set up for each size. I dread the time that they both get broken. I probably will go with my ram prime as these days speed is of less importance.

I went through various hand priming tools & eventually got rid of all of them. I now use the RCBS bench priming tool. Occasionally I'll use a RCBS priming die when I want a fixed stop.

I use a hand priming tool from Sinclair. Its a high quality expensive tool made from Stainless with good leverage but still lets you feel the primer seat.

I've had great results priming on my Rockchucker but I prefer to prime in my recliner where I can enjoy my Wife's company.

We're in the same boat, @Boomholzer. I've tried most of the available priming tools and none are especially good. (There are a couple of supremely well built tools for the accuracy crowd, but you have to insert the primers into them one at a time, which limits their practicality.)

I have had some success with the RCBS "Universal" which has a "one size fits most" case holder. It solves the trouble of exchanging shell holders, but is still a bit fiddly, especially with small rims like .45 Colt.
I was loading 45 Colt yesterday when I had the "moment".

Thank you all for the feedback, way more then I expected. @edhardware: thank you for the chamfer tool link.
I took a trip this morning to see what I could find local. I found the Frankford Arsenal hand depriming tool, not the priming tool. I'm lookin online now to order one. I did find an extra RCBS #20 shell holder today...even those are hard to find now. Not really worth the drive but a small victory and I got to check what was new for powder.....nuttin.
I worked the T7's primer arm and also swapping shell holder. Similar to what another contributor posted with the Lee hand press; its nice to work a process taking a step away from the bench and those old RCBSs were getting wonky.

Thanks again THR members.

Please let us know how the Frankford tool works out for you. I've been mildly annoyed with hand priming tools for more than 30 years now and would be happy to have a solution!

I use a Lee Classic 4 die turret as a single stage for seating primers. I dump 100 primers down on a clean paper towel and move it back and forth to upright them then put them in the primer arm by hand.. I do a couple hundred and set them aside for next time. It makes the final part of the operation go pretty quickly with three pulls of the handle. My K.I.S.S. method.
