I have the milled side folder.
When I bought it was nib, manufactured date of 2013 though so it sat in some place for a long time. I absolutely love that thing.
It has a Jmac Brake and a Russian Elk Head sling. I paid $1349.99 for it in 2017 so the investment was worth it.

The older Bulgarian milled rifles were great and shot very well. I dont know about the new ones. Mine was a better shooter than "3-4 moa" for sure

Supposedly, Kalashnikov was once asked who, other then his own Izhmash made the best AK's, and he said, "The Bulgarians".
The Bulgarian's factory 10 and the Russian's had a very close relationship, and often Bulgarian rifles used Russian produced parts, especially during the roll out of new models.

The Bulgarian-made hard chrome lined barrels are famous for quality and durability.
They bought barrel hammer forging equipment from Steyr of Austria, and their barrels are reported to go over 20,000 rounds easily.

As above, the Bulgarian SA-93, and the SLR 95/96 are among the very highest quality AK milled rifles ever imported.

Arsenal rifles are very well made. The only downside to them is they use a paint on type of finish which is known to be pretty thin sometimes.

"Shot this, shot that", but with only iron sights?
Have any of you tried getting a "tight" group with any scope or possibly an Aperture sight (Tech Sight etc) on a Bulgarian ?

I’ve never had a scope on any rifle, but with no apparent mention of these… by previous posters ….it caught my attention.

Um not sure about your attachment, but with the open sights on an SLR95 I could regularly shoot 3-4 shots in a 2-2.5" group at 100 yds with wolf ammo. I even clover leafed three shots once with it. Dont ask me to repeat that.
